Scammed by Taxed

Was supposed to be doing alching for me and I put 10K alches on the account prior and had cash on there for alches that I didn't even want him to spend yet although he did. He was on the account all night training and came back this morning to tell me that the alches were gone along with my other valuables. He then tries to blame me for it even though he told me not to go on the account the whole time he was on it...

I'll go check now. & what do you mean I responded with an emoticon? I was away taking a shower and was playing Xbox prior to that. I had not seen his message when he wanted to terminate my service for not being active after 15 minutes...

Edit: Longbows and Runes were bought, still doesn't mean he didn't trade them over.

 

Do you have proof of telling him he's only allowed to do 10k alchs?


@Taxed do you have proof that he allowed you to spend his money on extra alchs?

I only traded over 10K worth of alches last night and this morning he says that he had bought more.

 

He did not tell me I could or couldnt, the account had 12k natures on it, he gave me 10k nate and 10k maple longbow u
I went and bought 10k more maples on the account to even out to 20k nats and 20k maple long u, i fid this out of conviency of going back and forth. He never stated 10k alchs a time or anything of it.

 

Yeah I agree that info doesn't really help at all, he was honestly probably just trying to get more alches to have for overnight. Although I never explicitly said to buy more or not, he did go ahead and do that without my permission.
I honestly don't know what the fuck went down, I'm confused as hell and just want this resolved.

 

Without any proper proof of which one of you transferred the money, we can't hold anyone liable

 

So what do you think I should do? And if anything do you have experience as to what I should do to prevent this from ever happening in the future?

It's too late. I've refunded the scamming cocksucker, not only refunded but gave him an extra 10m 07... The least someone can do is tell me how prevent this from happening again...

 

have the person put the alchs on the account and then not give you access to anything but the inventory

 

That's one scenario, and what if they dont have bank pins? what if i decide to log off and the alchs are gone? its stupid even if he has a bank pic before.. what if hes setting up to scam before the order, so if i have a picture of my bank and stuff goes missing and its not confirmed who took what the person providing the order is required to refund whats in the picture? thats stupid.. nobody has offered any valid form of prevention for this, but next time I wont be refunding anything.

 

i operated arguably the largest skilling service on sythe for several years and never had an issue like this. people dont pay you in hopes that they can set you up; they pay you to do good work on their accounts. if you're paranoid about this sort of thing you can just record yourself doing all the skilling

 

I've talked to multiple people who've had this happen to them including mootrucks.. c0ngs.. one just recently where I had to get involved.. Maybe your status on this forum strikes fear in their hearts... but to others it's different.. This seems to be the new market scam even Excolent stated this is beginning to become an issue.. And what does one recording performing the service have anything to do with proving yourself innocent. One could simply turn off the recording... it's just such a loose cannon especially when innocent people such as myself have to pay the consequences of @DabbedOutNol scam..

Mind you, in doing this macroing for this disgusting scammer I ended up getting one of my starter mains chain banned, along with a customers @Fingy who I had to refund 200m 07. So yes, this is very aggravating especially when I was trying to provide the scamming prick a service. I seriously suggest a TWC on this guy..

But whatever... I'll hold my L's and move along.. =\ GLWS to anyone who deals with the scamming fuck.
