quoting on a closed thread

so I'm updating my vouches because my vouch page only has like 140 and I havent updated it in maybe 4+ months I'm really not sure, I was going through a closed thread with at least 20 vouches on it but I cannot quote them, does anyone know a way around this?

 

You could report the thread and ask for it to be opened?

 

could as a last resort, but I wondered if there was a way without bothering mods

 

It's the only way to get into the post.
