Community destruction team

Ever wondered why this place is becoming desolate? Look no further, the community destruction team is the reason. We would have better and more positive results if we simply swapped these idiots with monkeys.

 

The leader of the team has gender issues that have yet to be confirmed, possibly and certainly for special benefits (white knight treatment). The rest of the team are leftovers of the small community left if we don't count staff and ex-staff. His or her inability to not cause community reprisal is one of many reasons why the status of the team is in disarray and not being taken seriously by anyone. Simply reshuffling these bafoons won't fix the problem. The CDT needs to be removed completely.

 

The constant fuck ups by the CDT and their robotic responses are simply a domino effect which is carried over to the community as a whole. If we allow this to continue, we might as well change the url of this site to forumkorner and start selling positions.

At least they're doing something rather than nothing and bitching about it, no? If I recall, someone continued to leave because they couldn't handle doing that much. Interesting.

I think the whole community events + participation stuff that the CDT was made to do was meant in good will, but I don't think the site's activity / numbers can be stopped with something like this, maybe slowed down a little, but not stopped (not to say that it is meant in bad will or wasting their time, I just think it's like trying to drive your car towards the setting sun, you can see the sun for a little longer, but it will still set).

Remember this place came from RS, this site's survival kind of depends on a third party game.

 

Yep. If you don't advertise elsewhere and your only attempts to branch out are with a group of retarded volunteers, you're going to be facing a dead end. If this place is to grow, penny pinching is not how that will get done.

Maybe things will improve once Sythe and I finish up our work on SytheLib so we can get a product associated with the site to reel people in.

SytheLibrary. It's essentially a bot "engine", similar to what a game engine is like. Developers will be able to use the functions within to make their own bot programs, but scripters will also be able to make simple scripts that will run directly in the engine. It will work with most games and not just Runescape. I'm working on the scripting environment while Sythe is working on the core.
