Avatars impersonating funranks

Avatars impersonating funranks that the user doesn't own should be against the rules. Obviously if a non-staff user impersonates a staff rank, there would have to be a rule created to prevent that. I say let's just create the rule now and draw the line at all funranks.

For example,
Superfluous impersonating his moderator rank is allowed.

Tyler impersonating Legendary should not be allowed.

Mootrucks impersonating Angelic should not be allowed.

 

Why if I may ask? What would this change bring exactly and what is your thinking behind this?

It's a pointless joke at best and unlawful impersonation at worst. Kinda belittles the value of owning the actual funrank if you can just impersonate it in your avatar, right? Idk, thought it was pretty obvious why this should be against the rules. Maybe not. Is there any reason to allow this?

You should be allowed to use whatever you want as your avatar, as long as it doesnt break the sythe rules

I honestly just didn't really think of it as a big deal. I think people are smart enough to to see who owns what and whether someone is a staff member or not. I don't think any members with fun ranks have complained yet so this suggestion isn't really needed. I understand what you're saying but I honestly think its just a bit of fun.

 

Theres nothing wrong with this lol. If someone is abusing this to impersonate mod/admin postions then they'll be banned. It'd be unfair to restrict this for those who use this for fun/as a meme.

If it's a fun rank it should be no problem. Only problem I'd have is if someone put a moderator or OMM rank in their avatar.

 

My next choice was to rip the OMM rank.
