Sombra - Overwatch


She looks like a lot of fun to play and her story is funny too. I'd say I have a new waifu but it looks like she has ammo and you need to aim so probably not #dvamainproblems.

Do you think the character lived up to the hype?

 

I don't really play Overwatch anymore however this character makes me want to play again, her kit seems really fun. Makes me think of Tracer (speedy, hard to kill, short range)

 

All of her abilities are very strong and on very short CDs, with an SMG that can shoot extremely fast and accurate at close-medium range should be fun playing her

 

She is going to be horrible. Fuck u video for clickbait title

 

how is she going to be horrible? she could have no E ability and still be a good pick

 

Little to no health, her invis will be figured out within the first week of the game, not to mention the fact that she has a voice line when she uses her cloak. The translocator will be the only useful thing about her. The EMP doesnt even last long enough to make an impact

 

She has 200 HP her invis is extremely powerful if you know how to use it (yes it has a voice line when used but how does that matter?) Obviously they're going to know about the ability being used it's on what a 6 second cool down so it's not some huge surprise for it to be used.

Hack is EXTREMELY powerful against so many characters it's insane you think it's not useful are you kidding? She is a 1v1 god with that alone

Invis>Attack>Hack>Reload>Attack>Translocate>Invis>Attack>Hack and so on she can NEVER die in a 1v1 situation which she will excel at attacking and harassing the back line.

Her EMP (ult) DESTROYS all shield and barriers how is that not useful?

 

It takes 1 second to complete a hack so it's not used in a 1v1 situation, the opponent would simply shoot her with 1 bullet and break the hack.

 

Take reaper for example. He activates a voice line when he teleports, which removes the element of surprise.

 

Invis>Hack>Attack*

 

Heres the thing, attack with what? She has a 60 mag gun that does little damage per pellet and has a massive spread. You would be good against tanks to cover the spread damage, but then you're not able to flank around them and get them alone to invis>hack>attack

 

Her smg is very powerful what?

 

She seems really fun to play. Her kit is really strong; the duration on the translocator and hack on health packs are a bit too long and I believe they'll be nerfed in the future. If played correctly, she can win almost all 1v1 situations and be extremely effective at harassing and picking off the enemy team's back line. 60 rounds before a reload is a lot of damage being done especially headshots. Waiting to see how she will affect the meta and pro play

Hack a nearby large health pack > place translocator on it > invis and go for someone in the back line or use EMP if needed > use translocator if in trouble or if you get a pick > repeat.

Even if you don't get a kill you'll be disrupting their push or hold on a point; and if you have a smart team, (lol) they'll push once you get a pick or two and secure a team kill.

I strongly believe she'll affect Lucio picks because 60 rounds into a hacked Lucio who can't amp up his healing is a dead Lucio . This is a problem when trying to get Lucio with Tracer because if you don't land a lot of hits, your reload will punish you because he will amp it up and heal back up significantly.
