[CDT] Weekly Event #1[Agar.io][Prizes!]

Hey guys & welcome to the first of many weekly events, well until my prizeboxes run out then i'll have to get some different prizes. Most of these weekly events will probably have something do with gaming but me and the other CDT members are more than willing to take suggestions.

I have 50 prizeboxes to give towards these events and want to plan something special for people who participate in 35 out of the 50 weekly events, not sure what it will be yet but i'll make sure it's something awesome so even if you don't think you'll be able to be a top scorer it'll be worth it to send in your picture for participation.

Edit: One of the prizes has been decided on, the person who wins the most competitions will be getting the competition winner fun rank. Since most of these events will have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place we'll have a point system revolving around all placements to decide who gets it. Since this is going to be going on for well... just short of a year maybe we'll give the top 3 people the fun rank instead of just one person? We'll see though, hope that gives you guys some incentive to actually try a little bit.

We'll start off with a game that most of you're probably familiar with, Agar.io.

Game mode: FFA

Objective: The top 3 highest scorers will get the prizes listed below, don't think you're capable of that? All you need is 2,000 points to officially participate.

Prizes:
1st Place will get a Sythe Prize box.
2nd Place will get 400 Sythe Gold.
3rd Place will get 200 Sythe Gold.

Depending on the how this event goes we might look for people to sponsor future weekly events so we can have cash prizes as well!

How to Submit/Rules: You can submit your entry by Private Messaging me, please title it something like "Weekly Event #1." If you're a DNT User don't worry you can participate by messaging your submission to me on the discord here. As far as rules go all you need to do is set your name to SYTHE.ORG = $$$ and make sure you submit before it hits November 8th Eastern Time.

These are supposed to be fun, anyone caught faking a picture will be banned from any future weekly event and may possibly have actions taken against your Sythe account. Good luck everybody & have fun.

What's the incentive of getting 3000 points and "officially participating"? Like how awesome is this thing going to be? A minirank? Etc

I don't know exactly what it's going to be but it wouldn't be a minirank. I mean we could have a minirank for people that participate in 35/50 on top of whatever else we come up with, time is on our side i'm sure we'll come with something soon. Also getting 3000 points shouldn't be hard at all and these events are meant to be fun so it will stay relatively easy to "officially participate" in the future as well.

 

So not only is it bad enough that less than 1% of the community partakes in the CDT events, but now you're limiting these events to exclude DNT users. This is a perfect example of why someone like Sonia should not be CDT leader.

3,000 points is a lot. It took me 5 minutes just to get 400 and then I looked away for 2 seconds and died. RIP.

 

Is it your first time playing? Also I wouldn't recommend looking away, 3,000 points should be easy to get once you have the hang of things, once you get around 400 - 500 point start going after other people instead of focusing on the dots.

 

It is my first time. I managed to get ~600 on my second go in 5 minutes but I was curious as to what the green spiky bubbles did and it split me up into a bunch of smaller bubbles and I died. Rip.

No idea why it's so laggy lol still sent a picture in.

 

Loaded it up to see if the game was lagging for me & it's not. Make sure the default server you play on is where you live or closest to where you live you can view this by clicking the cogwheel.

 

I was playing in EU and it would just freeze for everyone (I think it was for everyone since after the freeze was over nobody jumped around). Meh shitty servers or something anyways 3k takes like 5 hours to get for a new player so ya lol. At least I tried.

 

Might be server problems then, but 3k points taking 5 hours? I don't know about that, might reduce it to 2k but I honestly feel 3k is pretty easy to get even for a new player as long as you play right.

 

I wish good luck on 2-3k to all those who try. Wasn't for me maybe I'm retarded then. ^_^
