Do you fear death?

I personally have accepted it as something that's going to happen, one way or another when it's my time to go it's my time.

Do you accept or fear death, maybe both?

 

I fear the potential finality of death more than I fear death itself.

We tell ourselves something is after all this to get by but we really have no way of knowing and it seems illogical in our brain to conceptualize such a thing.

 

I accept death, but i fear dying.

 

I certainly believe you can both accept and fear death since they do not exist indepently of one another.

I had accepted death yet did not fear it for quite a while, but over the most recent portion of my life I have grown to embrace a fear death. This fear has grown out of my desire to keep living opposed to actual fear of death itself. More than this, I do not so much fear my own death as fear the death of the one I love.

Like, I'm alright with death, but I'd be pretty bummed out if I were to die anytime soon.

 

Everyone knows it's going to happen eventually, and we can't change that at all.

I wouldn't say I'm afraid of death, just afraid of not completing things I want to complete before that time comes.

 

Sometimes but if I think about it it puts me in a bad mood sometimes

 

I feel the same way, I don't Want to leave without leaving a mark . I want them to remember me by someone who did big things in life

 

I have actually thought about death many times which is kind of weird, but it is a pretty big idea to think about especially since the idea of having a life is to live it like you only get it once, there is no proof of an afterlife so it kind of scares me which is why I try not to think about it. Awesome post though

 

I've accepted death but I'm afraid there's not enough time in life to do everything I want to do. I used to be afraid of the after part, but I'm not too worried about that much anymore.

 

I don't fear death itself, but I do fear the legacy I will leave behind. I want to have a positive impact in the life of my loved ones and have people remember me in a positive manner. I guess I want a meaning. So while I don't fear dying per se, I am terrified of the idea of not having built a strong enough legacy to be remembered in case I happen to die

 

I think about it often and it's definitely a huge fear of mine. The end of everything I know is just so difficult to grasp.

 

Never think about it cause who gives a shit. Yeah im gonna die, no need to stess about it

 

Not really, Seems inevitable (Who knows though what the future will hold) Death is just the cousin of sleep.

I am not frightened of dying. Any time will do, I don't mind. Why should I be frightened of dying? There's no reason for it – you've got to go sometime.

 

Life is a bitch and death her sister. So lets enjoy both but fear it at the same time.

 

You can't live until you've accepted death as part of life.

We come from nothing and we go to nothing. Non-existence is the norm and life is the exception, and the world goes on without us when we're gone. You along with everyone you love is going to die. The sooner you accept that the sooner you can make the most of the brief awakeness you have.
