I don't have any parts to suggest, but it should be pretty smooth going forward.

Nail yourself a DDR3 microATX with two RAM slots, 6GB ram (or 4GB if you're tight but that's not ideal), 500W PSU (Bronze), 250GB disk drive, $30 case

    done and done

I'm pretty sure the 1151 socket requires ddr4, right? Anyway, just nailed down my i3 for ~$93 after coupons, looking for a solid motherboard on jet then I should be good to go.

It looks like I can get 8gb DDR for $35, and that's on Amazon which is usually pretty expensive. Not too bad imo, especially with what I've saved on coupons for this build.

Finished my build. Actually went below my goal of 375 (even though I cheated by already having a hard drive) and the only thing I really cheaped out on was the motherboard. I think this is gonna be a monster for the price-- will update with pics when I receive everything.

I don't think a 430W bronze is going to satisfy that 480 tbh

Pretty nice, maybe get an additional HDD? you wont be able to install alot of games next to your OS on a 128gb SSD.

Just read up on it, AMD's suckered out 100w on average of power consumption between their 2xx line and the 4xx line. That's p cool tbh

Yeah my 290 gets beat by a 480 yet uses alot more power and produces alot more heat but that's how it always goes

keep in mind that I'm using an extremely lightweight CPU, motherboard, and am not overclocking anything with this build. Most calculators recommend around 300w, and I wanted to go with a quality bronze rather than a cheap 500 or 600 to fit my price point.

Oh, I missunderstood your comment Bluepig. My bad. (I can't edit on mobile for some reason sorry for doublepost.)

@Rosed I definitely will soon. Just trying to get the bare bones down then I might pick up a 1tb down the road!
