Live chat?

OP means user-to-user IM, not Sythe.org support live chat like they have on gold sites.

 

We had this too (SytheChat). Same outcome as the livechat

 

Go on discord.

 

I don't think Sythe wanted to implement a facebook-style chat because of the strain it'd put on servers and people's computers etc

 

As previously stated, just stick with Discord.

 

Discord isn't really for everyone though, and it's spammy as hell with a bunch of crap you don't want to see.

People (especially business on here) won't want to lose 100's of customers. People don't use discord and that's a fact, is full of BS and stupid spam nobody wants to see.

 

The only staff I ever see active on discord is Shin so therefore I'd support this live chat suggestion

 

What would be so urgent that you need to contact a staff member, other than requesting a ban in a situation where your account is compromised?

 

Hopefully if it was Official @n4n0 @Shin and less like a spam forum type of chat, which a lot of people do use to trade already. Obviously it has a pm system, acts like a instant messenger, privacy, and has group abilities. As well as a community feel of conversating with other sythe members. It's really simple to use, you don't have to download anything if you don't want to, just open another tab. Really easy to verify to your sythe account, so you know who you're trading as long as they are verified users. Easier access to get staff help imo; just pm one on there. As long as your customers are joined up verified /2fa'd etc, it can act as a much better form of trading compared to skype.

I still like the site livechat idea though, discord is definitely a great alternative though.

 

I'm confused as to why regular users are encouraged to use discord when half (or more) of staff don't use it :S
