There will be a new point system added this year.
Everyone who participates in a Monthly Graphics Challenge Will receive 1 points for that month
The winner of the Monthly Graphics Challenge Will receive 2 points for that month.

Points can be used as follows:​

4 points can be used to trade in for a sythe.org prizebox.
6 points can be used to trade in for a minirank of your choice. (excluding certain mini's not obtainable by other means)

At the end of the year whomever won the most Monthly Graphics Challenge will WIN a competition winner fun rank (or a different fun rank if you previously own competition winner) (excluding exclusive ranks like staff ranks, highly trusted ect)


Points do not transfer over year to year and are not transferable from person to person

Are there no artists on Sythe that are willing to draw something good for the competitions? Smh. All these cheesy signature-style artworks every month.

But I guess I can't talk too much, I didnt even enter. Good luck everyone.

 

I can assure you 99% of us can't draw worth shit haha

When I do a digital illustration it usually takes me 20-30 hours. Illustrations usually take a lot longer so thats why I dont think you see very many in SOTMs.

On topic though entries are looking pretty solid good luck guys

Everyone has different types and different styles of work of art that they're able to to produce and enjoy creating when entering. I personally was going to enter a drawing..although IRL got in the way of that unfortunately I wasn't able to finish in time for this event.

I personally love that there are a lot more entries recently, and just a reminder to everyone if you're not good at online GFX you're allowed to enter all sorts of designs such as drawing IRL, paintings, toast art, collages what ever you fancy.

Would love to see some diversity as we have in the past few months ^.^

was gonna make smthn like a painting but I stopped working on it after feeling like it strayed off too much from theme. leaving it here for people to see now that I ended up not submitting it

Oh right, my bad.

 

considering how much it takes to draw a signature from scratch, it isnt worth it. especially if you were to draw background too, it could take days.

while doing these kind of signatures, you don't need to make your own render. you can just take renders/c4d effects off of the internet and make the sig. it's less work imo.

if there was a monetary reward for winning these sotm, i'm sure more would be more digitally/hand drawn signatures.
