allow more than 20 threads to be on the first page of threads

Allow for more than 20 threads to be on the first page as by the time i can bump again my threads are bumped away back to like page 3.

 

It's fine as it is. The concept and purpose of a market is that there is competition. The best get ahead, while the slackers fall behind.

 

I think it's fine as it is. Agreed to Lol, that the point is the competition; if everyone's post was able to be on the front page then there would be like 60 threads.

no support, we need competition for low vouch sellers vs high vouches one, were all selling at different rates and this would only lead to one big shop dominating over the smaller ones, trying to make themselves big too

 

If doable, I would support the option to allow, but not require 20+ threads on a page.

20 threads is already a significant amount, but I can definitely understand why individuals would like to see more once.

 

I remember on vBulletin there were multiple options to choose from in regards to the amount of threads visible per page. I would support it as a user option similar to vB, but not as default.

 

I'd only be okay with this if the number of results per page was the choice of the user.

he means his threads are getting bumped off the front page too quickly right after he bumps his own thread.

 

Its not exactly a bad thing having more topics on one page, its a bit like when they updated outlook and instead of scrolling through 100 pages of inbox you can just constantly scroll down on one single page.

 

i can think of only two times when i've linked someone/been linked to a page of a forum that wasnt the first page. i dont think many other people ever do this either.

i like the idea of making this an option, would help when moderating a long list of threads in a given forum for instance

 

Things like these are cosmetic preferences for most; make it optional rather than a global implementation.
