"hand trained" accounts

People might see this post as pointless, but I think about it all the time. I cannot stand when people post accounts that were obviously botted, and claim them to be "hand trained". Example would be the 70/70/70 accounts on the osrs market.. A lot of these people selling them aren't part of some black market/gold farming website, they're just solo sellers. I find it insanely hard to believe that they are pumping out 6-10 70/70/70 accounts a week without botting. Even afking sand crabs wouldn't get those stats on that many accounts. It gets even better when they have 1-2 accounts for sale with a macroing ban from like a week prior to the posting date.

Idk.. shit makes me mad, I feel like people who are obviously selling botted accounts as "hand trained" should get some sort of black mark towards their Sythe account.

 

I have personally trained around 4-5 level 3's to 70/70/70 accounts for various people, Most of them for 40m each and they go on to sell for $55 each so they make $15 for F all basically.

 

Pointless rant considering you can't prove they're not making them hand trained or paying someone else to train them.

 

Ah, thats why I put "some people may see this as pointless" besides, aren't most rants basically pointless? With that being said.. pointless response to be quite honest.

 

I guess rants are good for getting out some frustration, but being honest anyone could pump out 70/70/70 accounts if they tried hard enough.

 

You have a point.. the fact is.. no one is doing that. You know as well as I do that the only people making those accounts for sale, that are doing it by hand is the underpaid Chinese dudes that are doing it as a living for a gold farming company.

Edit: great example.. there is a guy selling an account (hand trained i might add) 70/71/70 no other stats..

He didn't get that level just so the account would have a 71.. The idiot fell asleep or was away from his computer for long enough that the bot got him an extra level. This is common sense stuff.

 

We can't put black marks on users for things we can't prove.

 

This thread is a bit old; but I just wanted to say, for assurance, if you doubt the account is hand trained, just ask to wait a few days/weeks. When you login to the account and it says "last logged in 14 days ago", even if it was botted, it isn't getting banned (most likely). There's really 0 way of knowing if you buy the account and it was just finished getting trained earlier that day...just my two cents.
