My name is Shane / Aroxez, and I am requesting a high pardon / do not trade rank.
My last pardon request was in February, 2016, and can be found here.

Reason(s) why I have banned in the past:

Faking MSN hacking - in June 2011, I faked my MSN being hacked and therefore, was caught, and was banned. To sum up a stressful situation, I contacted three people while doing so: Plznate, who was a reputable member with thousands of vouches (mind you, I had 150ish vouches compared to his 1k+), RuneScapetm, who was one of my best friends, and Karl, who was a global moderator. Karl banned me as a precaution, and later realized it was me by matching IP's in the IRC. Ideally, the whole situation was a cluster, and I basically tried to fake it to gain more attention towards myself as a user here. I later on admitted to that, and requested a high pardon which was moved to the USL, and then later denied. This happened almost five and a half years ago.

Ban evasion - Since the initial ban, I have been caught (and admitting to) ban evading in attempts to rejoin the community. Previous ban evasions include:

August 2011, a couple months after the initial ban, I created an account called "Versa" (Versa) and legitimately traded (vouches: Versa's Vouches!) until I was later caught by Karl again, after discussing on MSN and opening up about it.

Along the road, in 2011, I did owe ex-administrator Roary money, which was later taken care of. Proof of legitimacy: Aroxezs Pardon - #5

Around June 2012, I ban evaded again after apparently not learning my lesson with an account MrTran (u: MrTran , v: MrTran's Vouches), where I again, came to do legitimate trades, but then opened up to Karl again and was banned after discussion.

At the end of 2012, in December, I did try to make a dispute pretending I couldn't make an account, but Ryan/N4n0 came to the conclusion that it was me based on MSN names and IP's. This can be found here: I can't register

Lastly, in July 2014, I made my last ban evasion account, SkullPi (SkullPi) and was an active member of the community and a legitimate member of the market place. Throughout the year and a half of ban evasion, I did not receive any scam reports and obtained well over 50 vouches (SkullPi's Vouches).

I have now been banned on Aroxez for 5 years and almost 4 months. I feel as if I have learned my lesson throughout my ban tenure, and although I ban evaded on three separate occasions, I feel that throughout the years I have not only matured as a person, but have proven my legitimacy to other traders in the marketplace as well. I understand where I went wrong, and I understand that ban evasion was not the way to approach this situation. I do feel that I have served out my ban on my original account, and hope to be able to rejoin this community and become an active member again. After re-looking, I am now seeing that today is 6 months free of ban evasion and today my pardon becomes eligible for consideration.

I believe that I should be forgiven for my initial ban, not because I was a young and stupid child who wanted attention, but because I feel remorse for what I did and how I was a risk to the community. I have not scammed, and have no outstanding debt. Although, if you feel I am a risk to the marketplace, I am willing to come back with the DNT rank until further notice.

To sum my pardon/request up: My original ban was for faking my MSN being hacked in June 2011, and along the way I have ban evaded on 3 different occasions, while staying true to my word and trading respectfully, and feel remorse for what I have done. I am asking for forgiveness from the Sythe staff and community, and willing to come back as a contributing member with he DNT rank until further notice.

If you're welling to come back with a DNT after 5 years I don't really see a reason to say no (even if what you did was problematic to say the least).

 

Supporting a full pardon, if it gets denied I'd support a DNT as well.

I support a USL vote for a pardon, but I'm indifferent as to its outcome. I say that because on the one hand your pardons have been denied multiple times which may or may not suggest something. On the other hand, we've recently had a change in the way Sythe.org manages disputes and formerly banned members. Accordingly, I think it should at least go to voting.

I'd like to ask, however, why a TwC was added to your account. Was it related to your ban reason?

I completely forgot I had a trade with caution assigned to my account, but I requested it from the staff. It had something to do with something happening in the spam forum at the time, but I can't quite remember it honestly.

So there was no threat, and I requested it for my own stupidity (probably had something to do with getting attention from other users. I apologize for not mentioning it before, but I really forgot.
