Thinking about starting a shop.

If I was able to make 6-8 melee maxed accounts a month and didn't attach an e-mail to them or anything like that would I be able to sell them for 500m a piece? I am really considering doing something like this but I don't know if the market it too saturated for it or if anyone would even buy an account from me. I have already sold two accounts that I had laying around so far but I wouldn't mind making a bunch more for some extra cash. All criticism is accepted.

 

If by maxed you mean 99 att 99 str 99 def, and no other stats really. Then no you wont get 500m but you definitely will get something good out of them. Will need to build quite a bit more trust though.

 

With this amount of trust you would get considerably less than they are worth but if you can really make so many of them a month it would definetly be a good moneymaker.

It's very hard to sell accounts without a ton of trust, even then people who are very trustworthy sell 99/99/99 accounts for around $275 - $350. Just being honest you'd probably be lucky to get $75 with your amount of trust due to the amount of newcomers/people with low amounts of trust that end up recovering accounts they sell.

 

Just do it, you can always give it a try, you dont have anything to lose

500m is asking a bit to much, for you i would recommend selling at about 150 ish until you gain some more trust.

 

How do you plan on maxing an account within 1 month? Doesn't nmz accounts from 70 70 70 to 99 99 99 take roughly 8 weeks?

 

Well 99/99/99 should take me around 320-350 hours so that's about 11-12 hours a day but if I take a few days off I can easily make up for it on a day I have nothing to do. I'd be using the controlled method with max strength bonus and dharoks (obviously when I'm able to use it) at NMZ; Ill probably start another thread explaining how I'm actually planning to achieve this but to do it effectively you would have to be questing 6 accounts while training 6 accounts and you would also need a very strong computer or a group of them(which I have access to) to be able to play on so many accounts at once. Timer is needed.

 

You would roughly get around 300m per account and at that you would have a hard time selling them all in one go.

Should you consider starting a skill training service? You look like you have lots of free time and experience regarding training. You should give that a try as well.

2) Didn't the top NMZ services guy recently try to beat the record for fastest time to max? Pretty sure not even he was able to do so within 30 days. And you're talking about only 12 hours a day for 30 days?

12x30 = 360 hours
99 = 13M xp, 99 atk, str, def = 39M XP

Therefore, you expect to get 108.4k XP/HR starting from tutorial island.

1) Obviously impossible
2) not only does it not account for differing XP rates while leveling, it doesn't account for time spent running between locations (lum-->ge-->train spots-->nmz-->bank-->chest-->nmz)
3) to do NMZ you need to have the quests done yourself = more time
4) Even 70/70/70+, to achieve the XP rates you would require, you'd need to use prayer.
Prayer training = a lot of money and some time
Super restores = money
therefore you would get a fraction of what you sold the account for

AND you want to do this 6-8 accounts?


Unless I'm missing something major here, obviously it isn't feasible to do this.

 

As most comments on here already state: you won't get 500M and trusted users usually sell that kind of accounts for 400M max.
Moreover, starting a shop = need trust which isn't always easy to get here - but it is understandable noticing how many people get scam everyday on here.

I would love to open a shop too, but for now I'll just offer services to ppl who requests some and do trades and be active on sythe: maybe you should do something similar, just start small.

I don't think you'd be able to get 500m for such an account. However, it is possible to make a business by training & selling accounts. Goodluck with your plans man.

 

500M isn't ideal. However you can still make good bank.
