Proof of payment: I would need to reboot my old laptops and dig through tons of pics. He's not contesting selling me the account.
Proof of contacting seller: Sent him a PM and Skype message. He responded instantly. If you want proof ill post now.

The guy who bought the account claims it's been recovered. Now Dan being the original creator he should be able to recover. Unfortunately he's been unable to. Now there's a whole lot more to this entire thing because of who bought the account from me. Zuzeil approached me after the deal was complete because the user Chechen ( Who MM'd the deal) was scammed. They believed it was the guy who bought the account from me who did it. I'm not entirely sure what zuziel was able to find on the guy exactly. Im not positive if he has previous scam reports or not. Zuziel was positive he did however. Can we please get zuziel in here to explain this further.

TLDR: I bought an account from dan. I resold said Account to a supossed scammer. Guy who bought the account now claims it's been recovered and his email removed.

I understand I havent given much proof if any at all. Dan and me are friends and I'd like to handle this correctly. He's agreed to repay what I purchased the account for. However gold prices have changed since then.

 

I also have PM's showing he sent me the info and the agreed amount paid as well. But like I said it's not about Dan and me contesting our original sale. This all has to do with the accounts current status and If it's actually been recovered or not.

@hattez does Monsterman want the acc back or a refund? Can your friend dan recover the acc?

 

I've tried recovering it numerous amount of times, and i've been unsuccessful, I said i can refund the amount i paid for the account to Hattez. @Excelont

 

The refund to hattez isn't the issue, it'should the refund to the user who Hattez sold it too.

The user would prefer getting the account back. I myself would prefer this as well. Dan Buddy is the original creator and If he lives in the same area it shouldnt be a issue. The main issue is why has the email been changed? There are only two possibilities. Either Dan recovered the account or this kid is lying. I know Zuzeil told me the user was a known scammer and recoverer. Im not 100% on the details but they also believe he scammed Chechen during a MM. When the trade was originally started another user on skype initiated this entire account purchase. During the process he created a 3 way chat with Monsterman and myself. He told me he was just a friend and as the process went along they told me he was helping pay for the account. By the end of this entire chat It became clear that Monsterman was having a friend buy the account for him. I dont think he wanted to be questioned or ip audited. I had no reason to suspect anything and honestly didnt care. I simply accepted the gold and sold the account to him/them. They brought chechen in to MM the trade. During the process of the MMing Chechen gave the wrong person 300m. Chechen worked with zuzeil and brought him into the chat. I allowed zuzeil access to my computer. He checked everything he wanted and looked into monsterman. During this process he told me the user was a scammer and asked if it was possible to recover the account. I asked dan to recover the account but was unable to. Over time zuzeil lost interest I guess. I havent heard anything since this current account issue.

 

To be completely honest I'm not sure what to do. This could could of sold the account to another user and just wants to recover it back. I believe we need zuzeil to weigh in. I also believe I created a thread about this on sythe. If someone could find it that'd be great.

Yes he's tried having it sent to my email and it's always for not having the correct info... Doesnt make sense.

 

When he sold you the acc, did he provide you with information? Or you didnt care for the info?

 

Not much info was actually provided. Bits and pieces mostly. I've never personally attempted to recover it. I just naturally assumed dan could no problem. He told me he was the original creator etc.

 

Hmm right so like you said either Dan recovered it or the Monster guy is playing games. Will wait for a response from @Zuzel111

I remember this case, I'm pretty sure guy who pretended to be receiving GP for account from chechen was well known scammer, however there wasn't any proof or anything linking that "guy" to his scamming history

 

So since there was no proof he shouldn't be counter-scammed at all. Hattez I most likely have conversation logs between me and you and most likely between me and Chechen too since we talk only on facebook, however I'll need to look for it whenever I'm sober since I came on sythe just to check my notifications, having day-off today

 

Not really lost interest, there was just no proof linking scammer to his past actions

Ok now we just need to focus on the account itself. I'm not sure how anyone wants to proceed here. Im open to suggestion and multiple staff opinions.

 

So we dont really have any leads to who has the account. @hattez do you have any chat logs of the account sale you made for the price we are looking at?
