[Food] Verts - Beef and Lamb Kebap Review

Before you ask, no I'm not going down on @Verts to do this review.

This is a local Mediterranean grill. Yet another thing that is starting in Austin and spreading. I thought it would be an appropriate review to post today.

I know what you're going to say. That looks like it very well could be an unkempt vagina that I went to town on but listen I was drunk.

I got beef and lamb as my meat, with a bunch of veggies, quinoa, jalapenos, feta and a mix of sauces over the time (pictured is a lot of "spicy red pepper" sauce)

This thing tastes AMAZING. I was surprised by how well everything went together and though sometimes I experimented incorrectly with strong flavors they have on their menu, it was always a good experience. My only issue is that it wasn't mixed well and the bottom was mostly meat without any sauce, and the top was mostly veggies with sauce.

If all goes well, I'm going later today to try it as a wrap stead of in the pita bread shell a la burrito style. $4 off coupon

High 5/5 I love this place - I just don't like the price. It is filling, but the price should be toned down.

I'd get it again easily.

Yeah, kebab. They call it kebap in the the former name of the restaurant so I typed that. Maybe just an alternate spelling.

I live in NYC and $8.45 for that? WAYYY too expensive.

 

Well I live in Austin sooooooo. It's basically the size of a Chipotle burrito, though. At least the wrap I got today was.
