Insured Users

I do not know if this is viable or possible but well why not speak my mind.

I was wondering why there not be an insurance for scams? Make no sense? Let me explain

For example I am X I want to open a skilling service. I know no one will trust me etc. So I decide to get myself insured. So how this would work is I pay a mod/admin/omm idk whatever y amount of GP. And I get a badge or something saying that I am insured for y amount of GP or something. The badge I get need not be of exactly how much the Y figure is maybe 70-80% of it so in case of me scamming the person who help the insurance money also makes GP.

Idk I think it would be a great implementation. Solve a lot of scammer related issues.

 

This have been denied multipule times in the past and is on the DNS list if i recall correctly.

Ah okay ill see if i can get it added. Check the denied suggestions forum for other peoples suggestions for this and the reasoning it was denied. The threads are labelled different like "money safety system" ect.

 

this could work out well imo if it's non-refundable, then it'd make it worth Sythe's (as a whole) time to micro-manage this.

bond holders could take these payments at their rates and process this into a standard bond donation and then get given the option to give the person paying x badge

if it's implemented in this manner, i would support but it'd have to be reviewed/discussed re: specifics

 

No support, if you want users to trust you, simply earn it. It's something staff shouldn't be getting into.
