Starting a gold farm.

Ive been reading a few guides on how to start a gold farm for 2007scape. I just want to know if its worth it. I was thinking of starting off with two bots but might just go ahead and do 5 on a vps.

I will invest in pro scripts and make mule accounts. Any advice before i start up my gold farm?

 

Ban rates are very high.

I wouldnt start a gold farm unless you have custom / private scripts made for you that are not known to the public. If youre doing multiple accounts youll need proxy's and a VPS so that your home IP doesnt get flagged.

 

My advice is to only use private scripts from well known & trusted scripters. Also, don't bot more than 1 account on an ip

 

if i purchase a vpn that can run 4 bots.. does that mean all 4 will run on the same ip? I was thinking of running 4 on one vps then if they get banned ill do the ip changer. Surely running each bot on a different ip address would cost alot of money?

 

Yes ill be getting a vps and using socks proxys

 

Yes they'll all be on the same ip, a vps that can run 4 bots just means it can run 4 lag free

 

I will not be suicide botting either, what would your best advice be if i was to bot 4 accounts on 1 ip address?

 

Don't bot them for more than a few hours before collecting the gold & also don't put a bond on them lol - probably won't last long

Greeting if I was you and I was thinking of a gold farm you would need a vps capable of handling all your bots along with a separate proxy for each one [vps for 5bots is $25/month 5 proxy at $4.50 a month] and you need a real good script that has low ban rates and high gp per hour you'd be better off doing 5 pk accs get 60str on all 5 take 3 days and sell them for like 10m each =100m+ a week with no effort bot them at low lv places so they don't need food

 

100% you should use private scripts. Lately the ban rates on public have been insane.

 

So for example if i wanted a private script and wanted to make the script cut yew logs for me i would ask a private scripter to make me a new one with different patterns etc to avoid being detected?

 

This is interesting. Im assuming the accounts would have to get 40 attack aswell or just 1 attack 60 str 1 defence?

 

exactly, as it will have different mechanics to avoid the usual methods which a public bot used by thousands making it easier to detect by jagex due to the amount of people using it. As you will be the only person using that specific script it makes it much harder to them to detect.

 

if you've had no experience with bot farms in the past, I wouldn't recommend it now as the ban rate is so high now.If you are still adamant about starting a bot farm guess best idea is to start small like your planning on doing and growing but there is no doubt about it there will be chain bans and gold loss.

 

I am prepared for bot bans and gold loss! Trial and error will help me greatly

 

Find a private method (which isnt know and available at the botting clients). Make sure it has low requirments and atleast 200k p/h with proper demand. Get a private script made for the botting client simba. Bot 8-10 hours max, inculding breaks every 2 hours or so (30 mins). Start the farm after UK working time.
