Read receipt on inbox

Would it be possible to show if a user has read your pm?

 

This was a thing with vbulletin, probably possible with xenforo if it doesn't exist already but is a difficult to find option.

 

im using sythexen dont see a option for vbulletin?

 

I mean before Sythe got updated to xenforo read message receipt was a thing

but for real, i wouldn't mind this being a thing. i feel like almost everyone reads all their pms but maybe i'm mistaken

 

Support for the following reasons above. Helps with sales and knows if they've lost interest or not. Also to see if people just ignore you.

 

Rich doesn't read his PMs and there are a few people I've noticed posting screenies where they literally don't.. touch inbox. >.>

Definitely support, I'd like to know if people are ignoring me purposely especially when they need to do things and they're not doing them, or for customers I'd like to know if it's a good idea to PM people at all - if I'm trying to contact someone. If in circumstances I read a PM and forget to respond, people will see that I've read it, and can message again. That would be good.

 

Letting you guys know;

If you leave a conversation (message via inbox) all it does is removes the messages from your inbox list. It doesn't notify the other individual that you left the convo, or that you're no longer a participant. Something needs to be fixed with this, or a definite need to have a read receipt on inbox.
