*sigh*Another help thread, I need help for my paint proggy

I'm making a small paint program, I already got Jazz's line+rectangle draw functions *thanks* which I will mod slightly to be a tool in my program.
What I would like is a function, or a complete code/tut on saving bitmaps. Doesn't have to be bmp, all I want is an image format (widely used) and can be openned in my program again or in another program like MS Paint.

So far I have a brush size tool, an eraser tool, a color preview window, color selection using RGB (i will update it cool to colordialog), and the draw window. If anyone wants to help me with my program aside from the saving part, post your code here and I'll give you credit when I'm done All help is welcome and thanks, everyone!

lol, assuming you have the graphical editing going on in a picturebox (which is where most "painting" happens you can use

savepicture(picturebox,filename)

and if you want to use a common dialog control to allow the user to save it where they please:


CD is the common dialog control, and picture1 is a picturebox where your picture is that you want to save
