    Self Ban Option

I'm curious why users can't self ban. I'm not sure if this has been discussed before, but if you believe your account has been compromised or you need to leave the site for a while, why can't I press a button to ban myself?

If an account has been compromised we ban them for being hacked and then they have to go through the account recovery process to regain access to their account. If people don't want to go on the website, all they have to do is not type "sythe.org" in their search bar, it's that simple. If you're concerned about your account's security, change your PW to something gibberish, write it down on a piece of paper so no one will ever know except you (eg. rltkh54236qmsofh!RTG) and enable 2FA. There's no need for a ban.

Well the ban sign also prevents people from trading your impostors as well. I just see no reason for it not to be implemented.

If it required 2fa to remove the self-ban on your own I definitely think it's a good idea that will save staff time.

Definitely, I literally see no point to not implementing this. It seems like something that would have already been done.

^This. The way I see is that this option is more for the eyes of others. There is a whole world of difference between a self-requested-ban and regular a ban. Not only is it a surefire way to prevent any scams via hacking, but it also helps other users differentiate between users who were banned for scamming vs. users who quit and requested a ban.

Won't happen, already discussed with the staff team and I've added it to the DNS list. Do this if you want an SRB Bye
