This is just proof that Shin is lying to cover up what he said. I would also like to point out to @Sythe and @Dave that @Shin was too lazy to read 15 posts. I mean if you want to leak, go for it but I'm not going to stoop to your level. For everyone else Tyler is misrepresenting the situation and I'm not going to go into more detail.

 

Please point me to where you provided negative feedback that I'm 'unable to take'. Last I saw, I made a response and you said it was reasonable, but triggered by the fact I linked a staff request thread to a CDT member which should be used.

Please show me how or where I've been passive-aggressive and/or abused my position.

If you're referring to your spam forum comment of me being demoted in 2009 for the above, that is completely false. I changed from RS Mod to Off-Topic Mod despite Finn's objection, but resigned 2 weeks later to moderate and later be the Head Administrator for Powerbot until Qauters sold the site. Once informed he was selling it, I resigned from Powerbot as well.

I'm not sure what part of your brain made this up, but this is also false.

There is nothing constructive about this statement.

Instant evasive response without reading or considering any of my points. You're one to call other people "lazy". I'll remind you this isn't the spam forum. If you have constructive feedback, this is the place to provide it. Otherwise, you should stick to the spam forum.

 

I've already provided it. My feedback now is to stop being so damn defensive and actually realize that you might be the problem. If someone calls something you say or do passive agressive, it likely is without you knowing it especially online where it hard to understand intent. It is really silly to try to call people trolls just because they are not praising you because it is just a way of deflecting criticism.

My response wasn't evasive you were just asking questions and mentioning things that should already be clear to you. If you had just acknowledged that fact that your actions could have been perceived as passive aggressive, none of this would have happened. Instead you chose to argue and just reject any and all attempts to give you feedback as trolling. You refused to acknowledge actual feedback until I had publicly shamed you in dozens of posts and @mentioned basically everyone important.

As a staff member you are held to a higher standard and as the person receiving the feedback you should be thankful for me taking my time to give it to you. Attacking me is not the solution to your problems even though it is exactly what you have done, again.

 

So the entirety of your feedback is for me to not request people to use a staff request thread created and intended for staff requests when someone wants me to perform a staff action because you think it's "passive-aggressive"? I'm fairly certain I do more than what's asked for the majority of staff members. Furthermore, I've stayed out of CDT/PR/TC drama since it began and have no reason to read through a dozen threads with multiple posts if it doesn't require my attention. Simply put, if someone needs something done by an Admin, put it in the request thread. You guys weren't even finished discussing what exactly you wanted and still haven't relayed what that is. I wasn't quoting you in the response I made and there was no reason for you to step in or lash out like you did. From what you've done afterwards, I can see you simply don't care.

Your response was evasive and you still haven't addressed the multiple accusations you've made. You're calling it feedback, but all you've posted is a bunch of lies, slander, and baseless accusations. Calling me "passive-aggressive" is subjective interpretation. If people message me on Skype asking to recover their account or dispute a ban, I link them the proper section (or relevant stickies) and ask to post a thread. If someone wants verified on Discord, I ask them to PM me their tag on Sythe. If someone randomly tags me with no explanation as to why and someone else follows up with an unclear request in a section where people are supposed to request staff actions, I'm going to request them to post in the thread. If they clarify what they actually want instead of me having to waste my time reading through every post and discover what's desired on my own (which can lead to human error), it will be handled. The request thread exists for a reason.

Negative feedback and defamation of character are two different things. You interjected where you had no reason to and instigated a fair amount of shitposting in an attempt to stroke your ego. Hell, you tried to get a lot of your buddies to shitpost and "roast" on my feedback thread on the basis of you saying I'm a "fucking faggot". If you really think I'm the one attacking you, you're a moron at best.

 

My response hasn't been evasive at all. You are just deflecting very valid criticism. I haven't defamed you at all and all you've done is hurl accusations and agessiveness back at me. You need to learn to accept criticism and that you aren't always right. If you actually read my posts in the CDT forum that it was reasonable to request people use the request thread. However that does not excuse your passive agessiveness, your dismissiveness, your lies, your personal attacks, or your general shitty attitude.

I am attacking you. Firstly, you deserve it completly. Secondly it is and was clear though your words and actions that you had no intention of taking my feedback seriously. Like I've already told Sythe, the only way to actually get you to maybe acknowledge your the asshole in this situation is to make it very public.

I'd also like to say you've competely ignored my feedback and just strawmaned it into something else. You really need to take a step back and realize that while I'm being an asshole you are as well but you are in a position of power and I am not so the only way I have to actually maybe make you even read my feedback is to cause a shit show. It has worked effectively since you had said you were going to not respond to my "trolling" (which is a retards way to say legitimate feedback) and now here you are responding, even if you are still being an evasive asshole about it.

 

Which involves not linking a request thread when that's where requests should go? Or have you moved on and talking about "defensive" stuff now?

What are you talking about? I think you're triggered by the fact your complaints aren't getting the attention you expected in trying to turn the site against me. I have no problem with feedback when it's actually constructive or clear, but you can't seem to even state what the fuck you're ever talking about.

As well as calling me and asshole. Then getting triggered by me saying I wasn't going to respond to that comment. Then saying in Discord I don't think you're capable of keeping trolling out of the spam forum. Which to you said I was calling everything you've said so far a troll, I was going to ignore your feedback (of you calling me an ass???), and use that against you in your moderator application. You're really a special case of stupid.

I completely deserve being attacked why? If you actually had feedback to give, I might have taken it into consideration. Instead, all you've done is thrown temper tantrums all around the forum in the hopes of having your ego stroked.

Not like I've asked a million times already what the hell your "feedback" actually involves. Are you not capable of giving clear answers?

 

I'm very sorry my feedback hasn't been very clear. I've tried to make it clear.

• You need to stop being so emotional about negative feedback. There wasn't any name calling or even swear words in the post you quoted and I even acknowledged that I was being an asshole and you come back still at full tilt attacking me.
• You need to stop accusing me of doing things without actually backing them up. I do not believe I have defamed you at all. I did try to get more people to give you feedback because I believe others are afraid to actually say anything to you. This goes directly back to my first point in that you get extremely emotional and defensive about negative feedback. I'm assuming that I am not the only person that feels the way I do and I was hoping that my posting would give others cover to post without fear but I guess that didn't happen.
• You need to stop being so sensitive and easily triggerable. I called you an asshole because you were being an asshole. I don't believe in sugarcoating things and I am just going to tell you the blunt truth. Learn to accept that.
• You need to stop being passive aggressive so often. It's fine to be salty sometimes but it seems like you are passive aggressive nearly anytime someone doesn't think you are the second coming of Jesus.
• You need to stop assuming that anyone that has a negative tone is a troll. Yes everyone trolls sometimes but not all of the time and identifying when someone is joking around is very important. We aren't going to stop having fun just because you are unable to tell the difference.
• You need to stop deciding whether feedback is constructive or not. People leave feedback when they are either sucking your dick or are super mad. There is very little feedback provided that isn't one of those two. Part of being effective is understanding what feedback is supposed to mean and acting on it.
• You need to get better at understanding what feedback means. It really isn't that hard to figure out what I am saying. It really should be that hard to ask some questions to figure out my issues but instead you just stay emotional and attack me some more.
• You need to get off your high horse and realize you aren't the second coming of Jesus. You absolutely deserved to get attacked. You clearly did not take my feedback well and decided you were just going to ignore it. If you are going to ignore feedback there is nothing I can do since there isn't actually anyone in control of the staff that I can complain to. If you don't want to be attacked maybe you should consider what is being said to you instead of ignoring it.
• You need to be more proactive. Look at what Dave did in the Tech Core. He wasn't asked to do anything or even mentioned but he was proactive in helping and trying to find solutions to our problems. I call not being proactive lazy because I do not like being reactionary. It really doesn't take all that much longer to be proactive but you seem very resistant to it.
• You need to learn to explain yourself better. Look at how Dave handled the situation after I mentioned him. It really isn't that hard or that much work. I'm not sure if you just aren't able to do that or are just too lazy. It is something you should figure out for yourself.
• You need to learn to deescalate situations instead of just adding to them. This is very hard until you've got your emotions under control but take a look at how Dave handled the moderation applications and my suggestions about making them more public.
• You need to not feel it necessary to show you are smarter or someone else is dumber. I spoke to you about changing a poll option and you treated me like a moron and then you went ahead and implied I was a moron in public. You had already told me how you felt and I had already agreed with you multiple times. I do not see any reason other than stroking your ego for you to attack me publicly.

I hope that list is sufficient for now and understandable. Feel free to ask questions if you do not understand something.

Meets all of the things that I got my mod application denied for. You need to have a serious look at yourself and understand that just because you are an admin you are not allowed to be a hypocrite.

Your application was denied long before I posted on it and I see no connection between my post and your baseless accusations of me being a hypocrite.
Perhaps you should take the professionalism point to heart and respond to the denial PM instead of throwing a temper tantrum publicly every time something doesn't go your way.

 

I wish you would take my feedback seriously. This is not the spam forum. Stop acting like it is.

These are not baseless accusations. The PM was sent by you so you are the face of it. All of the items listed in it are also displayed by you so I'm not sure how else I can take that. Are admins held to a lower standard than those applying for the staff? Are admins allowed to be unprofessional, have behavioral issues, and be super narcissistic? You clearly display all three of those traits in that one post. It is absolutely ridiculous that I am denied for a mod position while you are still on the staff since you actually have all of the issues listed while I do not.

I hope you actually can take my feedback to heart and change your ways as I believe you are one of the biggests risks and biggests determinantes this site has seen in a very long time. You have no place being on the staff.

 

So your entire ploy of making site-wide complaints were in an effort to make me look like something I'm not, just so you could take it out of context in the hopes of getting me demoted? I think you need to seek professional help from a therapist or mental institution in that case, because your methods are borderline insane if those are your true intentions.

 

It really is not ok that you are attacking me still and assuming that my intentions are bad. I am giving my unfiltered feedback which is that in current state you are not fit to be a staff member. I am saying that because of specific actions that you have taken recently which I have brought to your attention. I'm not sure how you think I am taking what you have said out of context since I quoted it and it contains a link to all of the context you need to understand it.

Clearly you are incapable of accepting any feedback whatsoever or admitting even the smallest amount of fault or accepting that you may not have made entirely correct choices.
