And it offers a reward system for people who actually are competent and like a particular section since getting staff makes it seem like the site likes you and wants you to help make it better which is going to keep people around more

I completely disagree with everything Rich is putting forth on the table. To be quite honest with you, he's completely lost his mind ever since his mother kicked him out due to the "Hotpocket" incident of 2015. He's never quite been the same since and has been recently spotted e-bullying a very nice young man by the name of @Gohan

 

but regardless sythe staff isn't a government and community development is rather complicated and im pretty sure i know what i'm talking about when it comes to sectionals and you should let me try to prove it

 

it is far more than that since they hold far more power than just that. if you want the staff to just be that then give the cdt leaders the ability to directly hand out mini ranks instead of having to ask the staff

 

i'm just saying the idea of the staff you've got aint what we've got right now and we should just do what works

It sounds like you are just making sectionals except not calling them sectionals. Globals absolutely should be doing more shit with pardons and disputes and mediation and you can easily do that by just having sectionals. and if the community teams don't feel like they are actually valued or have any power or upwards mobility they'll be dead and they'll have 3/4 of their members kicked out like the cdt just did

 

Did you at least acknowledge their concerns or try to work together to implement the changes you wanted to see? The way you guys handled the DNT change was terrible, I mean you have people with DNT that can PM other members, accounts which were hacked are being unbanned and a rank which looks like a requested security measure.
