Does donation, your shop have a factor in this process? How often do you require mods to be?

 

Donations are not a requirement whatsoever, we've had great staff members who didn't have high donation amounts at all. What do you mean with shop and require mods to be?

 

Like is it more likely for someone to become mod because they are highly active from their business on sythe? If so then wouldn't that be targeting a specific audience? Sorry if I sounded aggressive. Just curious

 

I rarely had any businesses on sythe. However, it is good to try and gain trust from the community.

 

So you don't necessarily need to be active or engaging in a specific section; if you want to become a moderator of that section? I.E. you've rarely had any businesses on sythe, but you're a market mod.

 

It's ultimately up to staff to decide whether or not someone would be accepted and if they get accepted which sections they'll get. We'll consider what the applicant asks for of course, but it's up to the staff to decide. If they're not willing to moderate the forum they're assigned to, we'll reconsider which will either result in a section change or a demotion.

 

What sections are you wanting or needing mods for?

 

Everything aside from "Security Moderator" should be open at the moment.

 

Are personal opinions going to be factored in? ie; anything out of a professional viewpoint on the applicant? There are some of us that may not have the best image partly because of the section of the site we participate in, but have the ability, WANT to provide and serve the community and have an appreciative viewpoint on holding the position.

 

Donations have nothing to do with being a mod.

They look at the overall picture in my opinion.

 

Overall behavior shows us how you handle things and how you like spending your free time with no restrictions (e.g. spam forum) so yes, I can safely say behavior will play a role in voting.

 

I agree that behavior is important but I don't think behavior in the spam forum should be considered. @Sythe is a great troll/shit poster when he wants to be, but still maintains professionalism when required.

I definitely don't take spam forum posts into consideration when voting on this kind of thing. Don't really see why anyone would.

 

Overall behavior counts. Passive aggressive comments outside spamforum/discord count. Flaming outside of those sections count. Although there is a difference between people who like to joke around and post some troll stuff and people who intentionally try to make themselves feel better by slandering others.
