He went to the mods with a RWTers name and generally the only people staff are willing to leak information to like this are informants, I don't play OSSCAPE so it may be different there, however this is my personal experience as both a long time RSPS player and former staff member on a number of servers.

Sorry if it is not my place to post here, but yes, generally if someone is quick to go to a staff member on ossscape,they're either that staff member or an informant.

 

Can second this. Staffmember/informant most likely. However, there is a chance he was a long term player before RWTing, meaning he could potentially hold a close relation to some staff members as they may be buddies. First reason is most likely though, especially on a server as big as OS-Scape.

 

Not sure how likely it is that if he was a long term played attempting to RWT that he would go to staff and then come and post something on here that could directly link him to his Sythe account :S. He also has only 2 posts which I can't check anymore but i'm not sure how much RWT was going on to begin with if any at all.

Anyways fortunately the above 2 both fairly familiar with RSPS themselves also agree that this person is likely staff

Still not a lot of solid evidence so i'm not that worried which way this report goes regardless, and if he's really staff/an informant he'll be caught eventually anyways.

As I said, him being staff is the most likely situation. Just adding there can be a rare case that he would be friends with some mod. However, I think him being a mod is very much more likely, so I agree with you. Agreed on the last part aswell. It looks as if he's an informant, but not too much solit evidence. If he is, he'll be caught soon.
