If anyone can help me work the PIN out too I'd be really grateful. I tried 0730 which didn't work.

 

While the name says "live:dobigold", the Skype ID is "live.dobigold".

Also, there's no proof in the album showing they PM'd you on Sythe.

Looks like you were scammed by an imposter.

 

I have just added an image for the PM on Sythe.

 

That doesn't change the fact you were speaking with an imposter Skype unfortunately.

 

So does it not prove the fact he's an imposter and you should ban him or are you going to let this run around Sythe?

 

Please provide all screenshots for the conversation where the chat logs and PM from Dobi match.

I'm asking you to post pictures of the conversation you had with the Skype ID "live:dobigold", as the ones you've provided are for an imposter and don't match the PM.

The profile you linked me isn't the imposter. The person you added on Skype and spoke to was impostering the person whose profile you linked.

This is why I was asking for screenshots of the Skype ID "live:dobigold", as that's what was included in the PM and not the Skype ID you've linked in your report.

 

So how is the real profile PMing me if I was trading with an imposter then?

Can't believe Sythe are going to let you get away with it.

 

This is a man in the middle scam, one person pretends to be Dobi and talks to you on Skype whilst the other one talks to Dobi pretending to be YOU on Skype.
The Dobi pretending to be you then asked for a PM and linked your Sythe profile to the real Dobi. It's not Dobi's fault that you didn't doublecheck Skype IDs (live.dobi.gold instead if live:dobi.gold) however I do suggest that @Dobi sends both his own Skype ID as well as your customer's Skype ID to prevent this from happening in the future.

I'll leave it up to @Shin to further handle/close this but thought I'd clarify.
