[Drink] Canada Dry - Blackberry Ginger Ale Review

Today (a few weeks ago in reality) we'll be trying out Canada Dry's blackberry ginger ale. I have no idea what the occasion of this limited time drink is, but I saw it one day, and it was gone the next.

Price: $1.25 for 2L



My process for trying 2L of soda / large drink quantities is like this:

First, I open it up and take a sip straight from the bottle. Ginger Ale is heavily carbonated and I hate carbonation (Personal preference, no points get deducted). The flavor seemed light, but more on that later.

Second, I try it with ice right after. Again, the flavor was light. It was late at night. I put the drink in the fridge / freezer and wait for it to cool (No points deducted for the light flavor because...)

Third, I try it cooled without ice - usually the next day. Maybe my tastebuds were off because of something I had eaten, but when I had it cooled it was amazing. The taste of blackberry complements the ginger ale so well. I want this to be a permanent flavor, that's how much I love it. The flavor was NOT light, but it was darn good. Canada Dry blackberry ginger ale is something I'd get whenever I could. Remember kids, your body can only take so many kg of sugar per day .

Then I go to rate the product. Nothing bad about the product, and I loved everything about it. This makes it a high 5/5. Then I have to think about whether or not I give it my seal of approval. This took some thinking for me on this product, but I decided...

High 5/5 with a seal of approval. I loved it that much. If you like blackberry / fruity soda, then get this. It's worth trying out.

This is the soda btw, not the sugar-free water (which I tried a year ago... 1/5).

Hey! Yeah this one is much better and I'm not sure if they still make it but I randomly see it at stores, along with the cranberry one... like at the most random times.

If you love the cranberry one, you gotta try this one.

Nah Nikka Cranberry Ginger Ale is the best.

 

I like light carbonation like in energy drinks. Normal sodas are fine too but ginger ales have way too much. Flat is just no.

Have you had this one??? If you have and you think the Cranberry is better then I'm disowning you.
