Explanation of the trade:
Purchased 2 League of Legends boosts: bronze 2 to silver 5, and silver 5 to gold 5.

How they scammed:
During the second boost when my account reached silver 1, it was banned by riot for using a modded client/hacking the game. I was refunded for the boost. Because my league of legends account was not banned for boosting which is a risk with this type of boost, but was banned because the booster was using hacks, I would like to report the case and then seek a small and fair monetary reparation for my account being lost. No lifer has agreed to pay a reparation if sythe deems it is owed to me, and we would like a sythe staff member to moderate the discussion of the amount owed.

my two cents are that:
-if you knew hacks were going to be used on your account, you're entitled to no refund for it being lost
-otherwise, you're entitled to a refund or some sort. maybe sellerman can tell you what your account is worth and that much should be repaid?

 

I did not know and was never informed that the booster would be hacking. I also hope sellerman has time to look into the case because he gave me the advice to create this thread.

• As far as I know, the booster did not use hacks/exploits/etc to boost this order (they've done many far higher elo boosts without issue, and this is the first time I'm responding to such a dispute).
• Anger's using outdated screenshots of paypal for some reason, this will most likely create confusion. The booster notified me of the account being disabled, I right away checked with anger to confirm, he did so and I promptly refunded his orders in full. Whilst his screenshots say otherwise, I'm sure he will confirm that this is what occured.
• What we spoke of (when I encouraged him to create this thread for you guys to make an official decision upon) is regarding if extra reparations are due to the client from the booster, not if his original payments should be refunded (that wasn't an issue and I wouldn't try to hold any of his payment, as clearly his account was disabled whilst the booster was in control of it). I don't know what was discussed between anger & mods privately, perhaps there was some confusion there.

Everything else regarding the situation should be pretty clear if anger posted our full chatlogs, if any further input is required from me, just let me know.

 

I included old paypal payments to prove I actually had an order with you. I will include the refund pictures below. I made it clear I was already refunded by you for the boost and never claimed you held my funds. The point of this thread is indeed to discuss reparations, sorry if it was confusing to you.

Did the booster play Velkoz? Or was that you?

 

That was the booster. Any ranked game on my account after the initial date I contacted the seller on Skype was the booster playing.

 

What was the exact date the boost began/the first game the booster played?

 

Date was July 29th. First game they played was a ranked game as Lee Sin (game was a loss with KDA 8/8/1)

 

Based of what I think, and what I can see, it looks like your booster was using some scripts/3rd party program while playing Velkoz @No Lifer.

What do you both think is fair compensation?

 

Thank you for looking into the case and for facilitating this compromise Sellerman. My account was 3 years old and I had accumulated about 84 champions and around 50 skins. I think around $60 reparation would be fair seeing as I've spent around $345 on the account (http://i.imgur.com/iogH6BK.png i keep track of my spending on league for personal finances). That would be enough to get me a decent start on a new account and is what I think is fair.

 

Are you basing that decision simply on how good a high elo player was playing, on a low elo account?
I believe you should actually review the booster's play when making such a claim, I personally thought this is what you would do (e.g some sort of screenshare, teamviewer/skype/etc) before making a decision.
Regarding the extra compensation, I believe you should be discussing that with other staff members to figure out, after making a decision based on something that you can let us know about. Me personally, I'm pretty insensitive to the price as it's the booster that would be paying this [through myself] if held responsible... though I sure hope kills alone isn't what you're basing such a claim upon, ofcourse I don't know what you're basing it upon as that wasn't posted and thus it'd be pretty hard for the booster to give any sort of response.

I watched a game of OP.GG, and it was quite suspicious. Not to mention that Velkoz is a highly scripted champ, and also that the person your booster was duoing with was playing karthus and cass, both of whom, are also highly scripted.

Also, all the champs prior to Angers boost are all champs that are never scripted, and nearly all of Angers games prior to the boost were nearly all bot games, aside a normal here or there.

Ultimately, it can't be proven 100%, as Anger could have used a script in a normal game.

However, based off what I can see, it seems more plausible that it was the booster.

Anyway, I'm having a friend who has been scripting for like 3 years + for over 6000 games watch the game I watched, and give his input.

So, I watched a few more games, and I got the guy who scripts for a living to give his input aswell, aswell as another Challenger friend of mine.

The consensus between us 3 was that Velkoz was not scripting.
