literally one of the biggest active scammers still active on runescape, leads a scam clan or has a high rank in it that is also known for ddosing and other malicious activity, stolen thousands of dollars over the years, known also to report other traders to jagex so they get banned and he can steal their names when they're released, also fiddles around with amazon refund services which are illegal and theft - but apparently he didn't know they were wrong?

Here's what I think of the whole DNT situation. Personal opinions are tagged with spoilers.
1. Serial scammers/vaders/users that have scammed large amounts without remorse or intention of repaying should stay banned.
2. Users that were perm banned for drama should be unbanned. If they didn't scam they shouldn't receive a DNT rank in the first place. It just seems like a waste of staff time to make them pardon since every single one of those pardons will consist of "I'm sorry pls remove my dnt"
3. If a scammer wants to get unbanned and given DNT they must start the "DNT process"

Step 1 - DNT
Before getting unbanned they're required to:
- Have a clean record since their ban on sythe.
- Care enough to take their own time and contact a staff member to begin the DNT process.

I've seen alot of members with DNT that don't even bother returning to sythe and I don't agree with unbanning anyone without speaking to them first.

- Repay at least 25% of the amount they scammed and then create a realistic plan to fully repay their debt in increments. The money should go to their scam victims or unrelated scam victims if they can't be contacted.

In my opinion the priority should be to 1) Return money to scam victims and then 2) attempt to make the community more active by unbanning potentially reformed members.

At this point they can should be unbanned with a DNT rank

Step 2 - TWC
Once they've fully repaid their debt in a timely manner their DNT should be removed and replaced with a TWC so they can begin collecting vouches for their pardon.

Step 3 - Pardon
After 4 months they can pardon and get unbanned if their DNT process has gone smooth and they show no signs of scamming in the future.

What this accomplishes:
• Scum stay banned
• Scammers that show remorse and plan to repay their victims can return to the community
• Members can pardon every 4 months instead of 6 making it more desirable to return to the community legitimately instead of ban evading

 

Repay victims
then remove dnt by pardon,
get placed with twc, and go through the twc removal scheme
become normal retards like the rest of us.

That's why you should always remain a dnt. Cos' you don't believe you have victims and also don't believe you did anything wrong.

I'm also sure extremely unhappy players who have had their valuable names stolen from their possession due to being inactive (completely not their fault) would like to have a word with you. Those being 3Bit, Raimundelas, Whoneedsabeetl, FoLT's Super Rare Display Name Shop [UPDATED STOCK], etc etc your trash shop is filled w/ them

Alot of what you stated isnt true and Im the one who sold and transferred Steel for Harvey :S

I actually purchased Drama and resold it - this was ages ago. I transferred it for the buyer and I had nothing to do w/ it after that.

PS Gossip amongst you and your buddies on skype doesn't qualify as factual information like you think it does.
