NMZ Related;


1) Is it better to use full strength bonuses setup w\ absorption potion or full prayer bonuses set up with overloads?

2) Unlimited special attack surge; Is it better to use granite maul for fast xp drops or dragon 2h for area of effect (AOE) xp drops?

3) Just starting NMZ, I should begin to collect points correct? How many points should I stop at and begin afk training?

4) How many prayer potions approx required to get 70-99 strength?

5) Also please explain the hard and rumble modes, I don't quite understand them, Which is better to use?

6) Can I select specific monsters to show in the dream or will I get for example Elvarg (He uses dragonfire so he'll hit mage)

7) Generally, Is it better to focus on prayer bonuses or strength bonuses?

1) Dharoking in particular is the best, it requires a rock cake and you need to prayer flick rapid heal every 50 or so seconds to stay at 1 hitpoints to get the fastest exp/hour.
2) Granite Maul
3) You should collect 1 rounds worth of points doing the prayer pot method if you're already ready to start the the defence armor absorb method.
4) Don't use prayer potions unless your below ~45 defence, but if you really wanted to I could give you an accurate quote depending on your gear/weapon.
5) Hard is better to use for prayer pot method, use normal mode and only normal mode for defence absorb method.
6) Yes you can pick the monsters right before you enter the rumble.
7) That would depend on if you're doing the prayer pot method or the defence absorb method.

I don't understand what you mean with defence armor absorb method.

Also I'm a zerker so what gear do you recommend and how many p pots I need?
(75 attack, 70 str, 45 defence and 45 pray)

And why the normal mode for absorb potion, doesn't the rumble mode give more XP considering monsters have higher HP?

 

Personally if you're a zerker i'd recommend getting around 500k points before you do the absorb method

Normal mode for the absorb potion method because on hard mode you would die way too quickly and you wouldn't profit any points at all, yes you get less points on normal mode per kill but you can't do the absorb method on hard mode.

The gear for absorb method as a zerker should be this (replace the d scim with an abyssal dagger and the warrior ring with a berserker ring if you can).

So basically defence absorb method means full invi of absorption potion and keep drinking sips so you won't die?

 

No, you should be bringing overloads as well, when i'm training zerkers I usually have 6-7 overloads depends on stats/quest build with the rest of the inventory being absorb pots.

Last question, I just teled to nmz and I'm about to colellect 500k points, what exactly do I do? I have 0 points so I can't buy anything, do I start normal mode?

And what's the difference between normal and hard mode?

 

No you do hard mode for the prayer pot method, and your inventory should be 7 super combat potions and 21 prayer potions.

The gear should be identical for the prayer pot method besides the fact that you should have monk robes/mitre/holy sandals.

The difference between hard mode and normal is normal mode bosses are easier to kill, are lower level, and they hit lower. They also give less points but you need to do normal mode in order to do the absorb method, you should be doing hard mode for the prayer pot method.

You're being a little blurry, so to start collecting points I need to do which mode? And how many points will I get approx after I finish one invi? (7 combat and 21 p pots)

 

Hard more to collect points (prayer pot method)

You'll probably get around 350-400k points after one inventory

Normal mode for absorb method (after you have around 500k or so points)

And why do you recommend me to use the normal mode absorption method if the p pot method grants more xp per hour?

Absorption method is cheaper right? I just figured it out today, why isn't it popular? Why nobody recommends it?

Monsters spawn endlessly in a sense, you wont be seeing more than 4 monsters at a time though.

1 sip of absorption lasts 50 damage, you can drink up to 1000 damage absorbed.

I recommend the absorb method because it's cheaper and more afkable, you can do the prayer pot method if you'd like though.

Buy the maximum number of absorb/overload doses that you can with the 500k points, bring 24 doses of overload and the rest of your inventory should be absorb pots.

Absorb method doesn't cost you anything, so yes it's cheaper, it's not as popular because it's not as known as the prayer pot method I would assume.

I know I asked too many questions but I think these are the last two (it's because every answer you give me include a question in it, hope you don't mind answering!)

Correct me if I'm wrong:
So there are 2 modes selectable, first one is normal mode which gives you lower points but the monsters don't hit as high.

And there is hard mode, monsters hit higher and have higher HP BUT you get more points per kill so logically if you want points you use hard mode, right?

How long would 1000 absorption damage last before I start taking damage in normal mode? Like 5 minutes or so?

And also if these are the 2 modes then what is rumble mode?

 

There are 3 modes and two difficulties, your description of each is accurate.

1000 absorb damage will probably last around 25 minutes in normal mode.

Those are the two difficulties, rumble is the mode that you choose, also you should probably be picking customize able hard and normal as if you choose regular normal or hard it will have the bosses from all the quests you have completed.
