I don't know if he has actually scammed or what not but seems like he has as he's banned, he contacted me on skype for selling his os scape gold and told me hes been banned for 48 hours for "excessive bump" and I did some re-search and found out that hes been banned for evasion. That's all I know and now I'm asking your opinion if I should refund this to him (?).

And the 500k os scape gold equals to about 6-8m 07 money.

NVM. The gold has been lost, he was an admin on OS SCAPE no other possiblity. We did a drop trade.

 

Who gave you the go-ahead to scam nuclear gold? @tombbajonez it's not up to you to decide that you can scam someone.

 

No one, I tried to contact you on skype before I was doing it but didn't get reply so I had to hurry on it and make a decision. Didn't know I'd need a permission for it, only heard about counter scamming. Thought it's allowed to scam from scammers so you can refund the victims.

 

You know how extremely sketchy you sound right? You magically lost the gold and expect us to blindly believe you? Will ask for a second opinion of a superior.

 

Well it indeed sounds sketchy, but why the -hell- would I risk my sythe career for a 6m / 07 bro, think about it. Why would I even make this report if I didn't do it in order to refund the people? I was just about to sell it to a person who for 07 who said he'd pay over-price for it because I'm refunding it to victims.

I don't find an other solution other than that the Nuclear Gold is a staff member as we did a drop trade on the gold, no logs for it. We didn't do a trade, therfore there are two opinions

1. He has reported me on the os scape forums? Though what could be the reason for reporting me. He can't say that he was selling os scape for 07 afaik it's not allowed on os scape rules.
2. He was a OS SCAPE staff which could also explain a HUGE amount of stack he had for sale (18m+) (Therefore you should add it also to his ban reason)

 

And to be honest, I'm new to os scape I will look in 2hours when I have more time to their system if there has been a report on me or anything on the forums. I honestly don't know, the only solution imo for this is that he was a staff. The whole trade sounded sketchy imo, why would he trust the money on me when he has been banned and has a report on him on the first page of report scammer archive section, wasn't too hard to find. I knew something like this would happen..

 

I can confirm I was on skype having a conversation with tommbajonez. I offered to buy the gp to off-set the balance lost by players. That was on the assumption MOD's gave the go-ahead that he did infact scam another player.
When he tried to log into his account, he informed me he was banned.
Just to clarify, I was not involved in this initial situation, I can only witness what was written to me. And my offer to buy the os-scape at 125k/10k was a gesture to try and help those who were scammed retrieve as much back as possible. Which would have left me with no margin for profit. As it happens, the trade wasn't able to go ahead anyway due to Tommbajonez informing me he was banned.

 

The banned account is the account I used for the counter scam, also its my only account on there.

 

Since you decided to go ahead and counter-scam him and have now lost it, you'll have to reimburse what was scammed to one of his victims on OSBot.

You don't actually want a more proof I could provide laters? Can't now as I'm not at home. But sure I can do that, it's a half hour job when a f cape gets ordered. Tell them to pm me on sythe. What is sad about this is that I'm accused as a bad person now when I made a good thing.

What I mean is, why would I see such an huge effort to make an 7$ which is pocket money? Why would I risk my sythe career for this if I lied to you, what I've said is all true. Other than that, I'll do it as it was my purpose on this, just stop making me look like a bad person here.

 

And the other point, he has to be a staff person on os scape which means that the os scape staff spawns money there and sells it here. And also as you stated above, scams people.

 

What I mean is that this is the first accusion I get for being nice and trying to get back the victims what they have lost for this person. "You're liar" makes a pretty shitty feel. I will post the whole conversation to you between me and nuclear gold as soon as I get to home. I'm getting stomped down right here. Is the conclusion on this made by you or also other staff members?

And no, I'm not refusing to pay the amount even though I don't feel like to as I turned a victim here now. I will obviously pay it if that really is the last decision.

But I don't quite understand why wont you hear my point on this, you just jump to a conclusion that I'm a liar and I need to pay for my actions. It's not the amount, no. The amount is LOW. It's just my principles. Sorry. Just tried to be a nice.. and what I get is this.

For me this honestly makes no sense and just tell me to shut up if you feel like to and I will refund them. I scammed a scammer in order to refund the people he has scammed and received a ban because he was a admin on os scape. Prolly straight after it, didn't log in until today. If I lost the money by other way I would understand this but now I really don't. And again what I mean it's my principles, not the gold. I wouldn't be here arguing about it otherwise

Like I said I've discussed it with a superior, it's final. Post back here with proof that you have indeed refunded the money to one of the three victims I've listed. Whichever one is easier for you.

Hey - you tried to be nice and that's commendable. It sucks that the money got lost, but at the end of the day we don't know if you did or didn't keep it. Nevertheless props for trying to help someone out, and I'm sure they will be very thankful
