[Food] Buffalo Wild Wings - 8 Wing Flavors

National Wing Day was July 29th this year and I used the opportunity to try out Buffalo Wild Wings.

Manager even gave me an extra 10% off for no reason.

Price Paid: $40 THEN 50% off THEN 10% off that amount for a total of.... 45 cents per wing. 40 wings.

1. Lemon Pepper - Lemony. Peppery. My favorite mild wing flavor. Wing Stop / local wing places make a better lemon pepper. Tastes like cheap lemon pepper salt blend (salt, pepper, lemon in that order). Low 5/5
2. Garlic Parmesan - Think of Pizza Hut's garlic parmesan. This is it. Again, a flavor you can easily buy at a store. Tastes just like the bottles of garlic parm wing sauce. 4/5 still good
3. Spicy Garlic - See Wild.
4. Desert Heat - See Lemon Pepper except without lemon. No noticeable heat or flavor, despite it being high up on the heat list. High 3/5 black pepper wings.
5. Caribbean Jerk - These are as sweet as Teriyaki wings... and taste almost exactly like Teriyaki except a little bit worse. High 3/5 sweet wings aren't my thing.
6. Thai Curry - STOP. AHHHHHH. These wings taste like complete butt. I want to say that there's an odd taste of ginger that is overpowering here, as well as a bit of thrift store flavor. Low 2/5 since I still ate them.
7. Wild - Despite this being the second hottest wing, it had almost no spice. Spicy Garlic was on the same level of both heat and flavor. Tasted like a medium to mild buffalo sauce. 4/5 because buffalo sauce is good, but it really fails to deliver the spice.
8. Blazin' - The spiciest wings I've had! At first they seem like average "pretty spicy" wings. Then the heat lingers and attacks your mouth - especially your throat. Napkins will be used for tears and mucus. High 5/5 ghost pepper item I actually like!

I'd come back, sure, but the only flavor I'd really want is the Blazin' flavor. The rest taste similar to wings I can make by myself easily.

Well I really don't like chipotle peppers, to be honest. Also, this desert heat one was disappointing so eh

 

I think what we really want to know is how hot the waitresses were.

 

They were all extraordinarily average.

WHAT!? Nah I mean chocolate is fine but nothing I'd really get myself... except I did like 6 months of trying out those expensive fancy chocolate bars. My favorite were the like sweet n salty ones or sweet n spicy.

I like ranch on salads... that's literally it >.>.

 

Those wings don't look too appetizing but like ehh, idk. I like some crispiness to my wAHngs.

If they were any crispier, they'd be rocks. But I agree, they don't look too good. Also, it isn't counter-serve so I hate that. Wing Stop rocks.

You should do the blazin' challenge. I think it's eat 12 blazin wings in under 6 minutes and you win a t-shirt. Pretty sure you can't drink anything either, they even make u sign a waiver before u do it. Went with a couple friends first semester my freshman year of uni and my friend completed the challenge. His asshole was never the same again.

I'm not about these types of events, although I would like an easy free shirt. I'd do it as a personal challenge, though.
