Another question about how the amount of Pokemon captured is determined. If I capture a charmander and evolve it all the way to a charizard, will it count as having captured/obtained 3 different pokemon (like the pokedex does) or will it count as 1 pokemon (meaning you need to have every evolution)?

 

Theres only ~5-8 active players atm and it kinda sucks to see new players quit because someone caught a mew so they have no chance of getting that minirank anymore (the only one that most ppl care about)

I suggest adding more miniranks and maybe even offering the legendary fun rank as a reward to keep people playing.

Legendaries
Instead of requiring someone to catch all three and then choose one it would be better to only catch one and then max out its level imo.

Articuno minirank - First person to catch and max out its level
Moltres minirank - First person to catch and max out its level
Zapdos minirank - First person to catch and max out its level


Legendary funrank - First person to catch articuno, moltres, zapdos and max their levels

Uh I would assume we would count it as 3 but maybe @Grave disagrees.

 

It wouldn't count as three. For simplicity sake, it counts as one. So if you want to cheese it you could just go after the shitty easy pokemons and not catch them, for that specific portion of the competition.

 

In my opinion its actually more simple to go with the pokedex style. Every pokemon you have/had (before evolution) can easily be seen by pressing "i". If we need all the evolutions it is very hard to keep track of which pokemon you still need, you would have to go through all your pokemons in your PC trying to find which evolution you are still missing. It would also be hard to count the amount of pokemons you end up with by September 11 as it is easy to accidently count a duplicate pokemon (one you already counted) again as you need to do it all manually in the PC.

Besides, this means I need a second mew to get both a mew and a mewtwo? Somewhat absurd imo.

 

My bad, I thought pokedex didn't count the ones you don't have anymore. Yep, we'll be going off that so if it counts ones you'vehad those will count.

 

A request from a humble player. Can the requirement of having to obtain all 3 birds be changed to capture the one you like to have? In order to be able to spawn any of the birds you need to have an (incredibly) rare orb, which you then need to charge with 380 pokemon kills.
The only way to obtain said orb is by looting chests, getting an orb is purely based on your RNG. The entire droptable of the chests: Special drops - Pixelmon Wiki

I have seen other players trying to buy orbs because they are unable to find any as well. Combine that with the fact that, even if you find an orb, it is not certain you will catch any of the birds, you might be able to see how challenging this is.

If other players disagree then I dont mind it to stay the same, as far as I know nobody has even came close to obtaining even 2 orbs though. Not sure someone even captured one of the birds yet.

Just lost my second lucky egg to a bug (it just randomly dissapeared). I checked google and found that other people have also experienced their lucky egg dissapearing, from googling I found that the other people ask the admins if they would be kind enough to add the lucky egg back to their account. So this is what I am doing as well, could the lucky egg be added back to my account (yologodstar123)? Not sure if you guys can look in to my account but I have lost the lucky egg approximatly 30 minutes before I made this post.

 

I don't know how to just add it. Let me know when you are next on and I'll give you one.

For the pokemon server, may I request the addition of move relearners: Move Relearner - Pixelmon Wiki ?

They can only be set in the game by the NPC creator. We have move tutors roaming all over the place, but it would be cool if we could get at least 1 Move Relearner. Maybe in the server's main spawn town?
