    It was some database problem which likely had nothing to do with the attacks. Sythe told me he had submitted a support ticket the night before but it didn't go through, or something like that, that's why we had to wait this long.

    Are you kidding? Some time around june 2006 or something it was down for at least a week as I recall. Get used to it, this isnt the last time it will happen. Try not posting about it every time its down.

    Sorry folks!

    I work hard to keep the site online, as does my host.
    We try to keep any downtime to a minimum, but sometimes the unexpected does happen.

    Never fear, if we go down, we will come back up again... even if it takes weeks.

    And the longest downtime sythe.org has ever had lasted the entire month of April 2005, if I remember correctly. But that was because of a domain problem and Jagex (the two are probably related.)

    We always pull through in the end.
