Perma bans

RIP? What does everyone think? Have you had one of your botted accounts perm banned yet?

 

My botted account is not able to connect to surver right now but my legit account is just fine lol so I can only assume all my botted accounts are banned gunna keep trying though.

 

Seems my bought account has been banned

 

Played legit on my account till like level 18ish and botted to 30. I'm in the clear tho.

 

i have 11 accounts that were all botted 1-30, 5/11 accounts have been permed, 6 do not seem to be affected at all and i can still play normally on em. all acounts came from exact same source and did exact same thing/same time ish so its weird only 5/11 were hit.

 

I'm getting "Failed to get game data from the server." assuming the account has been banned.

Believe it was Pokesniper2, was running necrobot before during the night, but logged in the account after using necrobot and seemed fine.

 

I received the same message on one of my accounts but after trying to log in approximately 20 minutes later, I successfully got in. Oddly, 2 hours before I got that message I received a soft ban. I'm just gonna throw this theory out there but maybe it's 3* soft bans, one ban as a warning, and then perma ban. Of course, this is all speculation but there's not much of an explanation for why I only got the game data screen for so little time.

 

I've had the message for approximately ~5 hours now? Hopefully it works in the morning lol.

 

Interestingly enough. My bot account that got banned, is the one I pretty much just use to add another Pokemon in the Gym that I have taken over. The other 2 accounts of mine, are the ones I was using to battle each Gyms, thus more playtime. I wonder if the ban actually factors the amount of legit playtime you're doing? Although, I was spoofing all over the place, and didn't get banned from that.

I got permabanned for using pokefarmer. Friend who spoofed just got softbanned. If I had to guess, I would say that perbans were handed out to players who used bots that accessed backend commands to perform actions.

 

I'm pretty sure i've gotten that error message in the past and i've never cheated.

 

Been encountering problems on different accounts when logging on using my phone. Just force-quit the app and start it again, works fine. Conflicting news in regards to bans vs. server's being down. Who fkn knows.

I think it'd be wise just to not snipe and keep your km/hr at a human pace (if you insist on botting).

 

i thought i was perm banned i could loot poke stops but couldnt catch 1 single pokemon they would all break out flee for over 24hrs then got mad then was just trying many differnt things to make it able to catch again and it worked i can now catch pokemon thank god i didnt lose 4 lvl 39/40 accounts

 

I kept getting my IP softbanned, within ten minutes. I narrowed it down to the RocketAPI bot, even when I ran just one with human walk speed... I've been using Pokebuddy in the mean time, it's not a good long term solution 'cause it seems it's going to cost money at some point.

Edit: I take that back, even it is getting my IP softbanned now. I check with my legit account on phone, connect it to my home wifi and nothing shows up, that means IP softban, correct?

I did have some luck using a program called Tallow to route all internet traffic through tor, very very slow though. Hopefully someone figures a way past this shit.

 

My main got banned gg, was getting bored of Pokemon Go anyways

 

My level 29 botted account is fine. They're probably just going after the snipers for the time being. If your bot has a sniper option make sure you disable it to ensure that you're less likely to be banned, and don't go overboard with travelling speeds.
