CDT Feedback Thread [Official]

They fucked up big time with Jon's donation money then they get all butt hurt when people call them out on their actions.

I've literally been on Sythe every day for the past couple months... For the past week, not very often, but I'm on at least once or twice every day.

 

While were at it lets address the dead omm's we have on the site lol can we get them fun ranks removed if they ain't actually omming.

 

OMM's dont actaully have to always partake in currently OMMing. That's the way its always been.

But hey this is a spam forum thread and Richards here, Anything can happen yaknow

 

Is it not just an unneeded risk for an "Inactive" omm to steal a quick buck?

 

There's been scamming omm's in the past.
There's been OMM's in the past who have tried to steal large amounts (I'm talking $10k +)

But you could say the same thing as ex staff ranks, other ranks, ect. Talk to the current Head middleman if you have questions.

 

But people can clearly see when a mod is retired they can't when an omm is? And the best way to get a response and a consensus from a large number of people is to post here lol

The CDT can be a great addition to Sythe.org and I would like to see the team improve this website.

One of the biggest issues that I've encountered with the CDT, is that the team is usually split half and half. Even the simplest of things are debated privately, which results in every action being dragged out longer than necessary. I think @Syed has it right when he recommended having the people decide what happens. It seems like a win-win scenario. The best result is that majority gets what they want. The worst result is that it fails, leaving the blame on the voters rather than the CDT.

Along with that, some members appear to be on the team just for the ranks. I never understood why the CDT was required/entitled to have any ranks. I don't believe the CDT members need to be differentiated from the rest of the community. If the team truly wants qualified people that care about the site, they will help with or without meaningless ranks.

Also an update on when the minirank collections were gonna be released would be nice.

If a discussion between lets say 10 people takes long, what makes you think discussion between the entire community is not going to take much longer?

My side was actually against having fun ranks for members when we were talking about it.
This was a bad part about the UE system.

getting rid of any ranks isnt a bad idea just my 2c
