Official Sythe.org CS:GO 1v1 Arena Server

Hey Guys!

This thread is to let you know that courtesy of Sythe and with efforts put forth by the Technology Core Team, the first of several Official Sythe.org game servers is now available for you to use!

This server is a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive 1v1 Multi-Arena server.


If you are interested in joining, and maybe helping me ensure everything is working properly, you may do so by joining the following server:

I'll definitely give this a go - excuse me for asking but how exactly do you connect? I haven't played it in about a year or so.

 

Either copy/paste the "connect" command in to the console, or add the game to favorites in your steam server browser and connect that way.

Yes, I'll be fixing that tonight as soon as I'm off work.

Oddly enough only some of the maps kick off the error, so I need to fix that when I get home.

 

Is this EU?

No, this is US East. NY to be precise.

 

Cool for US East ping shouldnt be too bad for EU I'll give it a try.

 

Damn. Someone make an EU server aswell nice idea though!

 

Thanks, sythe mentioned the possibility of doing a cs server, and I jumped on it

 

Would it be possible to tag us when this map download thingy is fixed? I tried getting it from the workshop but its still not working.

 

A workaround for this is to move the map file directly into your root maps folder, instead of having it in the community workshop folder

 

Worked, very simple fix thank you. 140 ping for EU East.

 

This is the issue I intend to fix tonight. Hopefully it works.

 

I'll definitely check this out and assert myself as the most mediocre CSGO player on this site

 

UPDATE: Map downloading appears to be properly fixed, if you guys could please jump on and give it a go. I would really appreciate it.

 

@n4n0 Can we get a game tracker setup so we can measure how well the server is doing?
