CDT leadership changing again

Seems like current members are getting blindsided with this.

Then again, it's big rich's site to do what he pleases and in all honesty the forums are exploding with posts and traffic with the recent changes. So it seems at least. Goodluck to Syed.

I get it, you have a different direction for the CDT. let Syed take the applications and have his own group which do that to bring in new members.

We can use the group we have previously to keep the community focused members engaged and here.

i think what @Sythe is essentially saying is he doesn't want anymore dead picture contest etc (even if i personally think they're ok.) he wants things made like the pokemon GO bot he helped create which drew in hundreds of members and made them stay as part of the community. picture contests can be created by the average joe.

 

So why didn't you create a separate group? Like I asked before, as always will be ignored.

I'm telling you to let him have his team and do the technical work that needs to be done for the forum.

While the CDT was not doing what you had envisioned for it, it did have its purpose. Members of the community geniinley enjoyed helping out the community and doing things with the community. Why cant we just have both?

are you basically saying you want to get rid of picture contests and raffles that anybody can make and are pretty boring, and want people with technical computer skills that can create things to draw in community members and also make them stay?

 

You've literally told me the PR team was seperate from the CDT and we have done so. We were to be "the face" of sythe. Which we have been getting along well now, as you mentioned.

3 groups would be fucking fantastic and would make loads more people happy, rather than whats happening right now.

 

People with better skills can still "help out the community" and do "things" with the community.

 

I mean, we were already running fine as is, so yeah, if you want us to completely change direction, then a third group might be a better solution. Or if you want the game servers to be part of CDT, give us a chance to adapt to that request. But completely changing the dynamics of an active team isn't the way to go.
