dark and gloomy with high contrast over-saturated elemental 'fire' or 'plasma' colours. I want 16 plasma colours in there (spanning the entire hue spectrum)

the pallets are different I noticed
first one is closer... there's no yellows in the second one

think about making a drawing with these colours of someone fighting a bunch of goblins or monsters in a gloomy setting using magic

not an art expert so actually genuinely not sure if either of these would work

I was hoping to get a primary palette going as an artistic theme / guide for this game I'm working on. The game is based around rare glowing elements which will have the plasma glow colours.

 

I'll try draw something with the second palette see how it goes

Sure for the plasma colours I'm going to pick 8-16 spectral lines I think. I'll post them here in a minute

 

actually this is a really interesting bit of physics. your monitor is made up of LEDs so if you use a wavelength to RGB converter and pick pure colours they come up as your full saturated colours FF0000 for example

 

So the aesthetic I'm going for is the world is sort of gloomy / dark except for the iridescent colours which are rare elements you're trying to find and can imbue items etc with
