When the update on the bot is done do I need to download this again Configuration #2: Best Config for sniping rare and high IV Pokemon using Necrobot and PogoLocationFeeder
or do I just set auto-update in config?

 

Should be the same, depends on just how big the changes are but as far as I know you wont need to redownload it. Assuming they don't update something that could potentially make it better.

 

Got it! Thanks for the share guys this thing got me some Charizards, mass Pikachu's and other dope pokemons!!

 

I think it might be a good time to use @Sythe 's pokemon go client and take over some local gyms

UPDATE August 3rd 2016;
All Pokemon Go bots are down because of the recent update to Pokemon Go by Niantic.
It could take anywhere from 24 to 48 hours until bots are up again.
The methods below will no longer work.

Also an update from Necrobot's dev;

 

Just wanted to report the good news!

A ton of devs(100+) came together to try and find a solution to the problem and they believe just solved it, they found unknown6!

PokemonGO Current API Status • /r/pokemongodev

 

Reverse engineering to figure out the unknown6 hash. This might take a few days to get fixed tough.

 

There's a shit load working on it but it's still something you can look into yourself if it's something you feel you could help with.

The sooner it gets done the better.

A lot of info available on the PokemonGODev subreddit if you're interested.

 

Ask for permission on the pokegodev discord channel if you think you can help out. My knowledge of coding doesn't go far enough to help them out

 

Any updates? Have they made any progress towards finding "unknown 6"

 

Bots are still down, devs have been working hard on it. Hopefully it shouldn't take another 24 hours.

Just gotta be patient and see.

 

We have uncovered another field of the input! It feels good to have some progress. Don't get your hopes up YET, we still need another field.

 

PokemonGoDev API dev's are getting ready for the release of the fixed API.

 

NecroBot should be up and running soon!

This is some crazy stuff lol. Apparently they were able to solve something that the guys who were trying to crack Ingress's API gave up on because they just couldn't figure it out.
