First of all, I was banned for not refunding a user named Edellins2. My side of the story is that the user had an account that he bought off me. I knew the original owner in real life so I claimed I was the original owner as I could just go to him and ask him to recover/unlock the account. My friend didn’t have access to the answer to get the Jagex guardian so when it happened I offered the user multiple refunds and he denied all of them. After he got cleaned staking, he asked me if I wanted to buy the account back for 100M and I refused several times as the user sounded sketchy and seemed to have done stuff that wasn’t necessarily legitimate on the account which takes out the value off the account. The user then tried selling the account but he got scammed by an impostor of Superman (he told me if I recovered the account I could keep the account to myself) (link: https://i.gyazo.com/befb1bc27ab50ba864fba8996d581961.png) and I offered help and I couldn’t recover the account but the account got locked. The user tried to post a theft report on me and it was denied about 2-3 times. Several weeks later (2-3 months) the user tried to get me banned again and this time his theft report went through. I tried recovering the account again with the original owner and the appeals were unsuccessful. At that time, I did not have the money to refund the user so I offered another max main along with 25M for the inconvenience. The account was a max main too. He agreed to the deal. He then probably got cleaned again at the arena and came back to me claiming the account was locked. (The user can easily post on twitter to get the account locked) I then unlocked the account for him and he wanted money and not the account back. I have enough money to refund him now, but I still don’t think the user deserves the money back as the account I gave him for a few days was banned for macroing major when all the accounts I did were done hand trained via guthans nightmare zone and the accounts has been sitting there for few months. This is why I did not want to refund him the first time after I had offered him multiple refunds. I’m pretty sure he’s doing sketchy stuff on the account. However, if you guys still think he deserves the refund I am ready to give the money to a mod so he can pay back the user. I’m just here to do what’s right, and the user I don’t think he would deserve a refund after all this but it is not my decision.

I had the account not more than a couple days before it was locked. Surely if I had botted the account, he wouldn't still have access to it here. It got locked appearing stolen.

Please bear in mind the last time Bas responded to me on Skype was giving the account information. He did not respond even once after @Dunworry stated I was entitled a full refund.

The decision I was owed a full refund was the verdict of an ongoing staff lounge discussion. Why he refused for so long is beyond me. When the account was locked and recovered by him, I had been told I was still entitled to a refund. The only contact he had with me was on PowerBot when this got him banned there as well.



Me doing "sketchy stuff" on the account is a bs accusation. Months later the account gets banned in his possession and he blames me. This whole thing could have been avoided had he just listened to staff decisions. Seems pretty clear he's the one doing "sketchy stuff". This is the last thing I'll post about this. This situation has been on going for far too long. My Skype is still Edellins and have Bas, Meteor, and Dun added if I'm entitled a refund. Thanks.

@Meteor I'd suggest finding unrelated scam victims for the rest of the money to go to if you cannot find anyone else. Try to pick one victim who was scammed for the same amount of what is remaining or more, so that bass isn't needing to hunt down a dozen people to individually refund.

I've been scammed a lot of times. I've scammed people in the past, but I'm also being accused of scams that weren't me. This shouldn't mean I'm not entitled to what's remaining. That just creates another scam. Can't see the logic. If I owed someone $100, but he owed me $500, I'd get $400. He wouldn't give the rest of that to others that were owed money. 4 months ago I'm entitled to a refund and now after a scammer himself comes back refusing to refund, I'm no longer entitled? Makes absolutely zero sense.

I've had a few other staff members look into this as well and they agree.

Taking into account your extensive history of scamming/evading, your own admission of having scammed multiple people (there are likely numerous unpaid/unreported scams), and the fact that you tried to frame Bas for an account rental scam that you committed, you won't be entitled to any part of the refund. The money will instead go to an unrelated scam victim.

Those were most of my accounts, minus this FeelsSadMan. I never heard or knew of this. I don't know how this was linked to me? Show me an ip match.

Ever heard of being wrong? Well, you are. Bas recovered his account on the 23rd. Look into the CustomMade account and see when he was renting his account out.

You won't find any other scams because there aren't any. I'm also being accused of 2 accounts that weren't me. Even IF it were me, I'd still be entitled 200m. I've scammed and it's always been petty and immature. The total does not surpass 100m 07. Regardless; The money is mine. It's been scammed from me. Hypothetically if I were to request a pardon and it be accepted, my victims have already been repaid, right? Plus I am owed 200m+. The remaining money you give to another victim, does that person who scammed now not to refund his victim? Or do you pocket his refund/that victim get paid twice? I'm seriously curious as this makes no sense. Because I've scammed people and you refund them, ok I understand. But it's a fact I'm still owed the remainder by Bas himself. If he gives the money to you. You then scammed me 200m+. There's no other way to justify it. It's the blatant truth. The scammers are to refund their victims. In this case I'm the victim of 375m.

 

The full amount of 375M has been refunded - 248M went to Edellins' scam victims with the remaining 127M going to a recent unrelated scam victim after some staff discussion.

This pardon is now good for voting - I'll start off with a support. It was a complicated situation and took a while to clear everything up, but I firmly believe that there was no malicious behavior at all on Bas's part.
