Which skill would you choose to have 99 in and why?

Thought this would be interesting to see.

I would choose runecrafting since its slow but makes easy money.

Also answer the poll for combat skills cause I know not many people will pick them

 

Prayer from the selection. I had it on my old account which unfortunately got banned. Cost so much. For useful skills, I would have to say farming or mining, no lie.

 

Runecrafting as it's pure aids.

As for combat skills Prayer, I have time but I don't like spending money.

 

Strength cause beatin the shit out of stuff.

 

Agility. Just saw there's a bunch of people with 200m. That's just not normal.

 

Farming. Because it's really annoying skill to train.

 

Runecrafting its extremely slow to level and very good money at 99

 

Combat would be 99 hp on a lvl 3 (think it would become 15 cb with 99 hp)

Surprised nobody's said agility. 99 agility is such a pain to get because agility is slow and repetitive.

 

You actually really don't. Unless you don't cannon tasks. I probably only made 100M profit from 99. If even. 99 RC on the other hand was like 600M.

Out of those choices Range because you can use range to do zulrah and have low mage and still make 1m an hour. Also i'm a pvmer/pker and 99 ranger is just so much fun.

That's definitely true, you'd be surprised though how much you have to sink into Cannonballs/potions (prayer/super sets) to help yourself more efficiently slay (and it makes a HUGE difference using them versus not using them).

You're right though, if you want to use Slayer for money, it's still really good if you're farming a Slayer only monster such as Wyverns. That of course would mean no Slayer XP though. So doing 1-99 Slayer for money is unfortunately not as much as you'd think. Slayer is insanely profitable in Runescape 3 but only moderately profitable in OSRS. Which sucks because I was lucky with RNG too. For example I got over 20 whips from Abby demons 85-99.

 

ah i feel ya. I never tried slayer past lvl 50 or so, never knew that slayer in osrs is less profitable than it was in EoC :/ thats a shame. hopefully osrs will do something to update that

 

Yeah after EoC a lot of monsters were never scaled with it so they became so easy to kill. And a lot of their drop tables got buffed. Slayer is insanely profitable in RS3. Loot tabs for 120 Slayer in RS3 are usually like 2-3B.

Slayer's not terrible by any means and there are some good monsters you can farm for GP after you hit certain levels but yeah, unfortunately it's not as good as you'd think.

No worries though about not knowing that, I didn't know that when I was going for it. I was disappointed to not have made more off of it. It was so much fun though doing it.
