I'm unhappy with DNT too, I get you completely, but bitching about it just fills the site with negativity and isn't going to make any change.

 

Most fun ranks aren't really "worth" anything though, they don't really have any financial value to them.

 

I'd rather be honest and post in a negative manner then pretend everything is good and that this is a good idea hence lying to myself and others.

 

I'm talking mainly about donation rank.
DJW has a $500 donation rank, give that to DDIS/Cas and then they have the option to sell it to another user for say ($450)
That $500 donation rank is then transferred from DJW to the person Cas sold it to, that way, there is more pressure for DJW to pay back the rest of what is owed.

 

$500 bitcoin bid on DJW's crabby rank. (to be paid to ttb/ cas)

Perfect example of how lucrative fun ranks actually are.
I know if those ranks are put up for "auction" for ~2 weeks, scam victims would be paid back very fast.

I'm not sure about that because they still donated to the site at the end of the day.

 

They also scammed at the end of the day - If they are given a 2 week or even 1 month warning that if they don't organize a payment plan and stick to it with the scam victim then their ranks are going to be auctioned off and the funds given to the scam victim, it might give them the pressure to organize something with the scam victim or their ranks get taken away.

Donation ranks are easy to move and take away, so it's not an issue there, as I imagine fun ranks are the same way.

We all make mistakes in life (you know this too), DJ for instance I doubt had any malicious intentions, just ran into some bad luck.

I wouldn't auction stuff off to the scam victim to be honest, they just might get sneaky and decide they can scam for just as much.

But I've never made the mistake in scamming someone, especially people I considered friends.

The fact that it was sent to Sythe does not change. Do you think because the rank goes to someone else Richard or the website somehow lose the money?? They just lose the perks they gained by donating the money which is well deserved considering what they've done and it may also allow some of their victims to be repaid in the process.
