The community spoke up beforehand and has done so many times during, I think it's safe to say for the most part he doesn't give two shits unless it's in support of something he wants to do. He rebanned Ricky but that took half the community complaining about him being unbanned which it really shouldn't when it comes to such a big pos

Yeah, people need to speak up. There isn't exactly a timeframe to do this, but for certain people who had a stronger community presence, it might be better to at least give them a shot. I know Richard made the poll and I know the reaction people had to at least the scammers who were getting unbanned.

I also realize Richard's (and others') point of view. Richard likes to equate his forum to real life. In real life, if someone steals from Walmart, they may get a slap on the wrist or end up being "banned" from the store (that doesn't mean anything) or see jail time. What happens when this jail time is over? Nothing. They are free to commit another crime, or change their lives.

Personally, I'm waiting to see IF something actually happens.

 

BTW I don't really remember which mod scammer DJW was. He's the one who scammed for drugs, correct?

All of the oldfags including Big Rich himself have a different understanding of who had a "strong community presence" while others are just abusing this to either A. Get their friends unbanned or B. Throw random names on the list and see how far it goes before Richard realizes he needs to stop. There are far too many people being unbanned. It's also laughable that being banned from here is being compared to prison when Big Rich said himself most of these people ban evade. You can't evade prison once you're there, and if you run off without going in the first place you're still a criminal regardless, with even more charges. A lot of these people also committed additional crimes after being banned whether it be ragequit scams or just vading or offsite activity. Additionally i'm pretty sure if most of the people who stole thousands had actually faced proper legal punishment for what they've done, that could be called actual punishment. The idea that banning them from here for a few years let alone allowing them back with a DNT rank without them giving a dime back is a joke. Fact is 95% of the people given DNT status never should have been allowed back. Something tells me that since most of them have been banned for years the website would've functioned perfectly without them if they had remained banned for years to come.

Yeah like $2.3k worth off 3 different Sythe members, maybe more who knows. It's good to see he can just come back and act like nothing ever happened though.

 

Yeah I was going to mention some of this in my post. It's a real shame that people don't have real consequences. It's always been my dream to see certain people punished for their activities online. As long as people are reasonably rowdy and/or patient... everything will work out.

 

Meanwhile Big Rich is all like "u dont go to jail forever for stealing $20 irl" ye u dont go to jail for stealing a few grand on here for even a day lmfao

That's a step in the right direction, and I hope you stay that way. I heard you were doing hardcore stuff and I'm surprised to read this. I don't think you can effectively use this site without people posting about the scams, though.

 

Idk why you guys care so much. Richard is and has always been entitled to do whatever he wants on his site. I haven't always agreed with everything he does but in the end this is his site and he will always have the final say.

Sure, members should feel free to voice their opinions but the constant back and forth bickering is not going to solve anything. I'm sure Richard has noted the concerns, which is more than he has to do.

If you guys can't cope with the recent changes, no one is keeping you here. Since some of you feel like you know how to run this place better, Go make your own market/community the way you want and see where that takes you.

 

Yall should be happy hes unbanned. Now he can slowly pay off his debts. If he wasn't unbanned chances are nothing would have been paid back. If he decides he doesn't want to pay the debts still he can simply be rebanned.

Richard wants DNT to entice users in to wanting to become a full member of the site again.. so yeah we could all be bitter about it and hate the change and DNT users or we make the best of the fact that it's going forward. If we're going to use DNT to regain members and subsequently site posts and discussion.. then they're not exactly going to want to repay and do that if we're all just salty and attack them, they're just gonna fuck off again and go somewhere else.

I don't particularly like DNT, just for the record.

Its hard. I was doing pills and heroin but i have been clean for at least a year now. I've seen alot of friends die and actually lost a friend in March being shot in the face right in front of me
