[prizebox] Help design the PR funrank

Richard has asked to make two fun ranks, one for members, one for the leaders. I'd appreciate the communities help making this.

We need two fun ranks created, 3 icons side by side that represent PR. If you dont know how to make GFX check out how to make an icon below.

Spoiler: How to make an icon (so everyone can have a go)

Find your image on Google, I recommend using transparent search to avoid ugly background boxes which can be a hassle if you use this simple method:

Click the image of choice, then choose "View original image"

Check the image is transparent, I usually just quickly drag the image on to the nav-bar and if a white border appears, it's not transparent

Next, go to www.online-image-editor.com and paste the direct link you got from "View original image" in to the upload box:

You'll find a toolbar above your image, find the "Resize" tool and resize the image so it's no bigger than 32x32.

Have "Aspect ratio" ticked to avoid stretched/blurry icons

Apply this change and then right click the image and "copy image":

Go to www.imgur.com and hold Ctrl+V to upload the icon:

This step is important, as although you can get a direct link from the editor, they expire shortly.

If your icon is used in any of the ranks, you will be awarded a sythe.org prizebox.

@Bleuskittle offtopic, but is there going to be an application process to be apart of the PR team in the future?

 

I believe that is the conclusion that me and Gracious have come to, yes.

It was either that or picking from the people who have already shown interest, However somebody gets access to the forums because they get the rank, so therfore before we can accept applications a rank must be made.

I'm loving the look of the two above. The one below need's to be re-defined so you can actually see the social media icons. Would make sense to me for a PR team who are trying to expand into social media to have a rank that has social media screaming from it
