Expanded private server markets?

YES Would love to see this update. Please make this happen

 

This will be hard to make as the private server community changes so quickly. The large servers only last a couple months before they get the BanHammer placed on them.

 

I wrote this about a half-hour ago, but figured I should just post it here.

If we were to make individual sub-forums for each major server, do you think we could be putting our user base at risk? As in, the owners of the servers taking advantage of the publicity/traffic? It helps avert users from potentially dangerous servers, but I'm not sure if the trade-off would be worth it.

If there's any solution to that, I don't think anyone would disagree with the idea/implementation.

 

No, it's fine as is. Also it'll seem like you're promoting some servers over others. There's nothing wrong with the current system.

 

Agree with this, it's fine as it is now. Servers will go up and down all the time. Too much work I think.

 

I don't visit the private server market so I don't have much of an opinion on this, but if people from the rsps market think it would help, then let's go for it.

 

Private servers are a HUGE part of Sythe, although I personally do not trade RSPS gold I think it would greatly benefit the RSPS community by having extra subsections.

 

It doesn't take long to comb through the most recent pages and find all the threads pertaining to the RSPS you want to RWT on. It is a minor inconvenience. The trade-off would be allowing RSPS staff to more closely monitor the moving of their gold. Also, there are some private servers that only have a couple threads on Sythe, and some that dominate the current forum. It would be highly impractical to make a sub-forum for EVERY RSPS in the marketplace. What would warrant a sub-forum for a new RSPS? One thread about it? Two? Ten?

 

Potential but the current market system seems to work, Already said but i do think it could endanger users due to RSPS staff bans.

 

Would not recommend. As I myself used to own a rsps marketing forums. And I used to have a lot of sub-boards for this..

It's a lot of work plus, every 4-8 months you gotta remove/add/edit some because servers easily get shutdown like Ikov or

 

Yeah a lot of work and a lot of risks involved for players. Agree with this

 

sure why not, i have to admit it's pretty messy right now.

edit: seen other peoples opinions and i agree it would be alot of work with servers constantly coming/leaving.

 

My opinion as someone who trades exclusively in private server gold is that the current system is completely fine. It would be very messy having so many sections if they were separate

 

The RSPS section on sythe seems to be filled with 95% ban evaders, scammers, and rsps staff. The section already sucks enough as it is, lets not expand it.

Its fine already. One thread is enough. I am currently only trading 2 servers, but people who trade 4-5 different servers would have to bump 3-4 extra threads. More work for no reason, other than boosting post count.

Subforums are not needed. The current rsps section is just fine
