Setting up a Sythe PR team

I'd like to nominate myself as i stated in the CDT lounge.

I'm way more than active in many areas on the site and would be able to help out the community further as a PR team member.

Aswell as the fact that I am currently CDT that will only strengthen the bonds between the PR and CDT team.

This would help me in my irl line of work. I also bring experience talking to the public on behalf of a large company through my work as a restaurant manager for a large quick service restaurant chain.

 

I definitely like the idea, I study marketing and running an official twitter or anything along those lines would be great for me personally. Would love to help out.

 

Just a word of advice (because I know you take my advice to heart always and forever), if you're going to have someone manage your social media be someone that you not only trust, but someone who make a complete ass out of you by accident because this obviously will represent you.

Be careful with who you let in etc, good luck to the sucker who has too much time on their hands for this crud.

Totally agree this would be really good. I can't see any thing that could be a potential negative from this tbh. Except ensuring you trust the person who represents the forum.

Clarification, under CDT lounge? or a new CDT forum with a new PR section. I was just talking to @Sephiroth878 @Gracious @Bleuskittle about a potential suggestion for a CDT section.

 

Also, @Sythe how would you go about giving access to Sythe's official twitter and FB accts without giving out the password to multiple people? Because if you only delegated one person to being able to share or post via the Official Twitter/FB etc then it kind of defeats the purpose of a PR team. Just curious.

 

I would love to help if members are needed. I have a lot of experience in social media, and I believe that I could help represent the site in a positive fashion.

I think this is an amazing idea. There's no community like the Sythe community and I want to see it continue to grow. Funrank or not, I would be honored to be apart of the Sythe PR team. I am on Sythe consistently every day and want nothing but the best for the community.

Anyways suggestion for you guys, considering you seem to be already moving on to making this already; aka twitter account.

for the PR's ....giveaways/competitions could easily start it up real fast.

I like the idea of having a PR team and I would like to nominate myself. Currently I am almost done with my Business study (which includes marketing). Not sure if I am trusted enough for such a position though, as I agree with Mage that the members of the PR-team need to be very trustable as they manage the reputation of Sythe.org.

The concept is great but growing on social medias for a site like this that only appeals to a small percentage of people won't be easy.
