Try to expand consoles like Xbox one and ps4 more it could bring in more people if re molded right

 

Not sure how effective it is, but what about adding tags to the forum? Like, people could tag a questing thread with "Runescape, Cheap, Questing, Zezima, RS2007, MM2, MonkeyMadness, Pure, Pures".

 

I mentioned one idea to CDT not sure if you have heard it or not, but try to condense the console list just like rs and wow etc console players are wanting to have there accounts boosted possible console boosting thread, console game guides that would be a good one I believe and others along with what I mentioned to CDT again

Cant find any of them in Google anywhere. Made the search: "Monkeymadness" with 1 hour ago max.

I'm assuming he means tags on the threads with the ability to filter the thread listing by a tag.

Yeah it would be different but could be a super helpful alternative to subforums (like in the private server section).

 

Could try contacting youtubers to like present the site and show what things the site acts as a trading platform for? Like rs yters the swapping, csgo the buying/selling etc. Like there's a bunch of markets that have been added such as pokemon go and overwatch, if some youtubers advertised where to go for your trading needs I'm sure that will bring traffic. Obvs there the issue of which yters would want to do it, but there will be some out there.

 

Having Youtubers advertise your site isn't free though. Seeing that Sythe posted another thread (with ideas about making more money for the increased server cost) I dont think there is a lot of money that can be spend on advertisement. Could be wrong of course!

 

You seem to be implying that I said it would be free lol. Just because the running costs have increased doesn't mean he can't afford to invest in his own site... Now what do you actually think of my idea rather then just beating around the bush?

 

I think it is too soon to say what marketing strategy should be followed. If Sythe decided he wants to spend money on marketing he should first do some research on what is the most effective place to advertise. If that turns out to be through Youtubers, then I support your idea.

 

This is pretty much my stance on this, through youtubing and twitch etc are platforms great for the gamers.

@DesireX that is what gamblers used to do in order to advertise their clan chats back in the days, and yes it would cost to do that. I'm unsure if it would be a good thing, but if it's the right youtuber it could bring in people meaning more revenue, or it could completely flop and that will be money wasted.

 

Yeah I guess the most recent is the csgo you tubers who advertised skin selling sites and gambling sites. Them sites became hugely successful due to it. I guess the comparison that we could make from that is the skin selling websites which are more of a similar concept to sythe and were booming/still are. I presume twitch streamers who have a wide coverage of games that they play and yters would be the people we want. If they're a decent sized yter/streamer I don't see it flopping as the site is pretty easy to use: make an acct and find a buyer/seller. What tends to put people of from things like this is having a long wait to get started or it being a hasstle to set up. Sorry for grammar mistakes its late.

 

I was talking more about it being a blackmarket forum; the flop would be when RuneScape or similar game companies notice that these youtubers or twitch streamers are advertising for Sythe. You don't think there would be some sort of back lash?


edit: every time i post something positive towards this whole sharing and revenue idea, I feel i then post a negative. Somethings wrong with me.
