Need an admin or someone knowledgeable to value an account

I've long since quit RuneScape and now I'm looking to sell my account through a trustworthy buyer so I can get some money out of it, and someone can get a solid account to play on.

The account has 99 everything except Invention which is level 1 and dungeoneering which is level 120. (2596 total level)

The account has 6 skills with xp for level 120, 5 of which are at 200 million xp. One of these skills ranks the account within the top 10 players of all time for that skill. The overall xp on the account is over 1.5 billion.

What I am looking for is an admin or somebody trustworthy and knowledgeable to get in touch with me so that I can have the account valued.

I'm just going to give you a heads up because of your join date: Today you will have an extremely hard time selling this account for anywhere near what it is worth.

 

As a person who've sold over 8 accounts I can tell you this;

Reputation > everything.

If you had 150+ vouches and relatively active trades you'd be able to sell for 400-500$ ish easily.


But since you just joined today literally you wont get any legitimate offer as it's high risk for the buyer. You might have legitimate intentions but in a forum where the accounts section is filed with scammers, you can't blame them for it.

 

If you're lucky like $200 cause of having no reputation.

 

Can I sell through a middle man with an established reputation?

 

It may add some value to the trade, but it won't be the same as having your own established reputation; however, if you're looking to sell it soon, using a middleman will be in your best interest.

 

Bump - I'm disappointed that reputation affects the price so much, I'm a legitimate seller but I understand it would be better to use a trusted third party as a middleman. How much do you think the account is worth if sold that way?

 

The problem is, middleman or not, the account can always be recovered. Your account sounds so beastly, that it should be invaluable. No offer of money can fairly compensate your efforts. You're better off holding onto it for when you get bored than spend a ton of time trying to off it for a microfraction of what it's worth.

That is a sad truth in this market. Buyers just will not want to risk their money on accounts that may get recovered sometime in the future.

That being said, reputation like the others have stated plays a key factor in purchasing decision.

Although it might be the case, you can always try use sites like playerauctions but don't expect to go far

Selling any account requires a reputable seller. It's only fair to the buyer for him to take the risk, because of a possible account recovery.

As everyone has previously stated, if you want to get anywhere close to what the account is worth you will have to build a reputation on the website. It won't matter what you say you would or won't do. People make accounts on Sythe 24/7 with the intention to scam just saying they are "selling" an old account and then it's either a hacked account they sell or they recover it back. There's no way to tell between an honest person and a scammer when both are new and claim same story every time about how they quit or whatever. Selling account's require the most level of trust compared to anything because people have to trust, one you will give them account and not scam money, two even if they get account in 1 week/5 years you could easily recover the account back stealing it + whatever items/coins are on it. With that being said trying to find someone willing to risk any money wouldn't be worth the time or money because it would be a fraction of the real value.
