Thanks for the heads up been using this app, quite helpful, especially when the 3 step glitch hasnt been patched yet

Also how reliable is this? I heard the iPhone app isn't too good since it's updated by actual people and it can be super unreliable/outdated. Is it true?

 

Seems to be similar to the phone: my phone wont load Pokemon GO and the site wont load Pokemon GO in my area.

From what I could tell earlier today when the servers were up, it's pretty reliable.

 

Once the servers go back up I have to try this

 

Canadian servers are up and working just fine, but I'm guessing this only works if the American servers are up since it's pretty patchy for me right now.

 

Poke-Vision is definitely the better option. Poke-Radar is all crowdsourced information, and no telling how deep into the 15m spawn timer the pokemon is when the initial user came across it. Poke-Vision on the other hand pulls information straight from the source.

However, Poke-Vision doesn't always bring up ALL the pokemon in range (it's varied from me between 10-100% of what's in my nearby), but I have managed to snag a few good ones (especially at work where I don't have the luxury to aimlessly mill about)

 

the glitch is that no matter how near ur a poken, ur 3 steps away, check twitter. The glitch started when the servers got ddosed, and to have less usage on the servers they nerfed the steps to find pokemon because apparently it was taking a big portion of the server capicity. When i had an onyx 3 steps away, it was 3meters from me.

 

For my city (Montreal) it is extremely unreliable. It seems like it was just people listing obviously false pokemon like charizard, blastoise

100% accurate for me. It wasn't in the exact spot that it showed, but it was within like 50 meters of that. Worked well =)

 

Are you talking about the app (poke radar) or pokevision? They're talking about the app

 

Sorry should have clarified. Pokevision is the only one i have tested

 

i dont play but pokemon 1000 ft from my house out in the country lol

 

Seems like the servers are messing it up for me, can't get anything to show up.

 

I just started using poke vision and overall i find it pretty good.

I've yet to try poke radar but i don't like the fact that it's updated by real people.. i feel like alot of people would just troll and it wouldn't be that reliable
